    interesting to note that josh hader was reinstated from the restricted list today, not from the paternity leave list. the paternity leave list is limited to three days, so when those three days were up, the brewers quietly transferred hader to the restricted list. during that time, he was removed from the 40-man roster. under the previous collective bargaining agreement, mlb clubs would not have been obligated to grant pay and service time during a restricted list stint. thus, on saturday and sunday, the roster had been at 38 players. the roster is now back to 39 players.
