    hate seeing this excellent thread buried. it's a great review of the organization and potential trading chips (i.e. another club may see value knowing that keston hiura has yet to burn his final option, and could enter 2023 camp with an option remaining).

    most veteran-type players signed to minor league deals have some sort of opt-out clause in june, and that month's almost over. maybe david dahl didn't negotiate for an opt-out clause, which may give insight in to what kind of offers dahl's agent was fielding from clubs.

    kolten wong is expected to be activated tuesday. unless the brewers decide to pare down to 12 pitchers, a position player will have to be cut. will the brewers continue to roll with hiura? seems that pablo reyes is the likely guy to be optioned for the return of wong, but that just postpones a tough decision when hunter renfroe is ready to be activated.
