i wish i could go, but i have to work, good luck to everyone that is going, and please post how well it was run, knowing the brewers however, it will probably be chaos...

i've met him a couple times, and he is a really nice guy...when he was hurt in 2007 and with the padres, i was getting autographs at the padres hotel, and cameron was the last one out...my freind and i both got him on a card, and all of the people there (who were dealers) kept giving him things, and he signed every one of them...one guy handed him over 12 photos, and i couldn't believe that he signed every one...he was very personable, and other times i've seen him with the brewers, he has been the same way...i've always been a big cameron fan...

you guys, they can't list it anymore because it is less than what rawlings wants to sell them for, when i did it last year it was like 110 or 120, something like that... i reccomend them to anyone though, and i've never heard of anyone having a problem with them, any other questions i'll try to answer...

i don't have the receipt in front of me, but together, they were both 220 w/0 tax, or around that... i remember that the magazines were a little over 110, and he said it was more because the frame had to be deeper? edit-- if i were as talented as you, i would do it myself, but i in no way could...http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif

does this mean that glavine will retire, or did i miss something already on him? if i didn't it seems like since smoltz is gone, maddux is done, that he would hang them up, but maybe he would go for another year?

TGJ has no business making the team out of ST, and Hoffman shouldn't change that, if he does break ST, either Macha or Melvin did not do their job correctly

you can't just ignore the numbers because he wears pinstripes and plays next to jeter...

jeffs sports, that is where i get everything done, and i love giving them business, i highly reccomend them...i dropped off a braun 8x10 and braun magazine, that i will probably pick up in two weeks, and then after that, i need to drop of a cc magazine and 8x10...so i'll post those too if you want to see them...

now maybe peavy wouldn't deny a trade to milwaukee... in all seriousness, it is a great deal, hoffman is a great guy too, hopefully melvin isn't done yet...

i thought that the yankees want him, but they have to move cano first

i'm finally getting around to framing some of my stuff, which doesn't make a ton of sense, because i don't really have any wall space, but they look awesome... http://i245.photobucket.com/albums/gg62/joebenson5/Framed%20Memorabilia/Picture002-1.jpg http://i245.photobucket.com/albums/gg62/joebenson5/Framed%20Memorabilia/Picture001-1.jpg

i don't care if brandon lyon can close or not, but at this point he could be had very cheaply, and it is a good arm to have...it seems like a no brainer to sign him...
  14. billyhallfan
thanks ben, that is it, if you order it by noon, it arrives the next day, they are great

last monday after the admirals game, we were pulling out of the parking garage and gord ash waved us in to go in front of him on highland ave... i know it was him, one because it looked just like him, but there was a brewers parking sticker on the windshield as well
  16. billyhallfan
i would sign brandon lyon, i don't know why he hasn't ended up somewhere yet, and even if he can't close, he is a great arm to have...

i can't think of the name, i've mentioned it before, but i can't think of what it is called...it is a wholesale place in michigan, and they sell balls for under 110, and bats really cheap too, i know they are from michigan, but i can't think of the name, or find it, they are really good, cheap, and fast shipping hopefully someone else can come up with the name, sorry
  18. billyhallfan
hopefully lawrie will take care of that... i like morlan, it's not like it's a big risk, and i know when he played for beloit, he was a top 20 prospect by the twins, although that was three or four years ago
  19. billyhallfan
ya, pepsimax, we need to do that...i still have them in my closet

I think charging for the autograph is just trying to turn some of the professional autograph seekers (looking to turn a profit) away in favor of regular fans. I agree with that totally. And honestly, I think getting a picture with Braun would be cooler then getting his autograph. I got him on a ball already, I think I'm going for a picture with him. i don't, i think it is a way to make money on something, plain and simple...

i haven't had any problems with anybody, and am never worried at all trading, buying, or selling on here, the only problem I had was the one moron with the fake jerseys, but he is gone now, i'm sure that i am missing some, for that, i apologize: jason21nl bigjase sbryliski06 GrubFever Houlie24x bdeuce05 mlccrispy34 BREWCREW5 jnorman76 BrewCrew25 Barrelman19 deersveum12 ewizabeff radman Brewerssupercollector Kelbysdaddy razzorsharp John Brew bbrauch2000 hofcs jonny5t utilityinfielder peavyfury bobble brian wisconsinsportsfan jcronk tnweill princefielder28 mattsr0625 pretendastro fatterthanjoey crew2323 cweber39 theactive 33 hawing sgtclueless 20fry kcbrewerfan34 snapfan1 bfishman bobbledude25 billscotcanrake uecker9 bucksandy34 and i'm sure there are more

i would hope that isn't the case, i would hope you could get there at 5 be in the braun line, and so on, but i guess you are right, there is no way they will do that...i wish that is what they would do for autograph fridays, have the name of the player on the outside of the door, so there is no running, the line starts at the door, that way anyone can be in line, instead of it being an act of discrimination, and yes that's a stretch, but it is true

i can get a picture up if there is interest, I can't stand the Bucks, and I really want to get rid of this and could use some extra money for next semester, I could not tell you what it is worth, because I don't know much about NBA stuff, I'm guessing $45? maybe that is way off, anyway it is a spalding nba ball, and it is signed in silver sharpie, if there is interest, like i said, i'll get a pic up, thanks
  24. billyhallfan
sure the lines are the same, but it is still a different principle, i don't care about the amount of people there, there is no reason why someone that gets there at 5 in the morning, should be at the same point in the line as someone that gets there at 8 the whole idea of sprinting to get one, is just dumb, and that, not anything else, is why i like the new idea, i still might not be able to go, but it won't be because they are charging for it...
  25. billyhallfan
i love the idea, i couldn't stand the system the way it was, it was a mess
