    I'm not that negative about many players on here, but short of signing Luke Scott (my most hated player in MLB), we just got one of my 5 biggest D-Bag list every year since 2003. Sigh... Hope I'm here eating crow this time next year, but we'll see.

    Evidently Cory peed in your Cheerios or kicked your chihuahua judging by the frequent, repetitive comments on this thread. We get it, you don't like him. I'll miss Cory - he seemed like a great guy, as well as having a fine voice. Having heard a number of other color and PBP guys around the country, we've been spoiled in this market for a while. We must be about due for a clunker!

    We've played the Cardinals so often this season that they don't have the mystique of the Phillies and their "unbeatable" rotation. Oh, wait, that was something nice about the Phillies. Nevermind - move along, nothing to see here!

    New avatar - done. I'll be there, Section 412, rockin' the #55 and keeping all my digits crossed for a Crew win. I'm 2-0 in playoff games I've had a ticket for.

    What a complete crock. Have we become the Cardinals ALREADY? Now we have to get style points to make the playoffs valid? Gimme a break! All the division winners have WON their way in only by the nature of the schedule. Had the Tigers been ready to clinch and the chasing team plays and loses first, then does that count as a "back door victory"? Sheesh... I could care less if we "sneak in" this weekend, win both games 29-0 or come charging down Wisconsin Avenue in a Trojan Horse. Good teams win their way in? At least ONE good team won't make the playoffs at all. We most likely will. End of story.

    I have this irrational hatred of Bluetooth earpieces and the nimrods who wear them. It's like they are saying "I'm just SO important that I have to be contactable at all times, instantly". And judging by the sweat pants and stained T-shirt, I'm gonna go out on a limb and say "errr, no, really you aren't that important".

    Punctuality, or lack thereof, is a sign of respect, or lack thereof. The fact that Gamel seems to have a problem in that regard speaks volumes to me. I guess as a perennial benchwarmer in pretty much everything I ever played, I came to resent the "talented" guys who think that talent affords them the right to be primadonnas. I'm not saying hustle trumps talent but when you have guys on the Brewers who have both, you notice the Gamels of this world more, I guess.

    Hmm, that's strange because I get the feeling that Gamel isn't much of a learner. He's always struck me as a Roger Dorn type. All talent, no social skills.
