  1. Man, my fantasy team can't buy a bucket.
  2. I won a plunger for high score in my family reunion's golf outing a few years back. degrading and practical!
  3. At halftime of a high school basketball game, my raffle ticket was picked so I got to shoot for money. I made the free throw for $25, missed the $100 three point shot and then banked in the $250 halfcourt shot! The place went berserk and some of my friends came down and carried me around the court. I wish I hadn't blown the money on candy and whatever useless stuff I used to blow money on.
  4. Brauns going to be in the 3 spot again and he's going to have 4 rbi's. Tag it and bag it.
  5. I think its important to challenge yourself overall, it might be tough at times, but if you aren't moving forward, you're moving backward. There have been a couple situations where I've been caught between a path that would take more work and an easy path and yeah, its nice to take it easy for a while, but the experiences I've enjoyed the most came as a result of the tougher times. I don't know if that helps. As far as teachers go, I don't think there's a profession I have more respect for. I have a lot of friends who are in the late stages of schooling or the early stages of teaching and I can't even imagine doing what they do. I wish I had the cahones for it, but I don't. Hopefully in the future... I think it would be cooler if we heard about good teachers getting signed for multi-year multi-million dollar contracts as opposed to sports players who are only here for our entertainment.
  6. Well I picked up Obermueller on my fantasy team a couple weeks ago just for fun, so I should probably start him as that has been an almost foolproof way to make sure a player is going to completely underproduce.
  7. Is it strange that those two groundouts gave me shivers?
  8. I'm cleaning out most of my collection... I'm sure they all work fine, but I haven't really checked them or anything, so if you run into any problems I'll certainly reimburse you. I may as well just do free shipping or I could just drop them off if you're in the Madison area... I guess respond to this post with the list of the ones you want. i'll try to do it on a first come first serve basis. Obviously I don't know what I'm doing, so if you guys have any other ideas let me know http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif Thanks guys!
  9. And Estrada's OBP is .303 so it can't be that big of a difference. I agree that Estrada probably shouldn't be hitting 8th, but all the crazy little rules for line-up orders come off as overkill to me sometimes. All I know is our lineup (any way you slice it) just got a lot better overnight.
  10. If I see this lineup (Statman's): Weeks Hardy Fielder Hall Jenkins Estrada Braun Hart/Gross Bush or this one (trowekamp's): Weeks Hardy Braun Fielder Hall Jenkins Estrada Gross/Mench/Hart/Gwynn Bush I may just go ahead and wet my pants right now.

  12. I'll be there tonight as one of my coworkers is playing with the band "SuperTuesday"
  13. Fun Fact: "Yovani Gallardo" is Norwegian for "Ryan Bruan" Way to keep graphically rocking the Brewer nation, WooGie.
  14. Wow, that was one of the most commanding saves I've seen since Kolb had that week where he got three outs on like 7 or 8 pitches a couple times.
  15. Lets get Villy the W, man that guy's intensity is fun to watch.
  16. What a perfect time for number 200!! *Curtain Call*
  17. How about that for a nickname?? "The Young and the Restless" A little play on their soap opera appearance and the fact that its a young team and its been a while since they've won anything. Nice work Brian Anderson.
  18. Dear Mitch, If you're holding this letter, you already know. The house has been boarded up. The windows, the doors, everything. We're at the Comfort Inn. Room 112. I love you. Frank.
  19. Dear FSN Wisconsin Info Line on the Top of the Screen, I've never understood why your baserunners are colored yellow and your empty bases are colored grey. Can we agree on some colors that are at all distinguishable? Love, Andy
  20. Dear Scott Baker I think I'm getting tired. Start throwing meatballs. I love you, Your arm
  21. Dear b19, Sounds like upper back stiffness or something of the sort... Sincerely, Anyone
  22. To Prince: Wow, that was one of the most violent and earth shattering F-Bombs I have ever seen. Regards, FSN viewing audience
  23. Dear Ned Yost, Graffy, Counsell, Bush - back to back to back? I'm drooling. My arm appreciates the rest it's going to get for about a third of the game. Thanks a bundle! -Scott Baker
  24. Dear Splitter, I'm sorry but I used up all of my universe-law-violations on the Packers during the mid-90s. Omniscient love, God P.S. I thought you'd appreciate the Cubs. It was the same reason I created Ashlee Simpson.
  25. dear hawing, stevo and i thought about stopping by your section to say hi last night, but we were afraid you might have been decidedly more sober than we were. over and out, -Islands p.s. go brewers
