    Am I way off base by asking if Corey Hart can still play first base? I would assume he can. Don't we have about 17 outfielders on this team that could fill in for him out there? There's got to be a better way to get Damien out there... hmm, say maybe at catcher, where his defense and pitch calling can be utilized? Maybe it's just a rumor at this point?

    I think once Ned found out the game would conflict with the Bucks and wouldn't be broadcast across the state, he decided to bump up Suppan's start so I can go the whole year without ever seeing him pitch...

    I think you're on to something with fan perception. I think it has a lot to do with the outcome of a game. After a win in which the team strands 10 runners, who cares? But if they strand 5 in a loss, ooooooh doggie. Those 5 potential runs really sting.

    I'm glad Cleveland is finally going to play again (and Seattle for that matter) I've got 3 players on each of my two fantasy teams from these two teams and I've been hurting without them...

    How exactly do you go about "fixing" leaving people on base? Isn't it just a natural result of reaching base, you're sometimes going to get left there? Can the hitters just try harder to not get out when people are on base as opposed to when they're empty?

    check out the early season batting averages for the first four brewers batters compared to the next four. Pretty goofy.

    I'm pretty upset by how un-upset I am at the Brewers. At this point last year, three losses in a row would have sent me into a downward spiral accompanied by booze and an endless stream of tears. Now I just think, 'eh, its only April 8th. 156 more games' And that really bothers me.

    Yeah, then they would have only lost 4-3. Offense, as has been an unfortunately recurring theme over the past couple years, is the story.

    At first, I thought this was some sort of cryptic shot at Brian Butch, and all i can say is I have no problem blaming him for the Brewer's previous hitting woes.

    It seems to me like they've been doing a half inning at a time. Seeing as they don't even link to the gameday during the game, I think they're just working out the kinks or training new stat recorders and everything will be normal come opening day (fingers crossed)
