  1. EDIT: Apparently I'm watching a replay of yesterday's game, lol.
  2. Good to know, where'd you see that? Since it was an 8:30 game that was cancelled, I don't know why the makeup game wouldn't be 8:30 (or 8:15) ... that's strange.
  3. 01. valpo 02. nullbyte 03. Houle 04. Beeks 05. Alan 06. DRick 07. Robin19 08. Kenny 09. Schubert 10. Aaron I'll text Shubert and Aaron to see if we have 10 or need subs... EDIT: They are confirmed IN.
  4. You can't throw up a stop sign when the runner is halfway home already. Sedar'd.
  5. 01. valpo 02. nullbyte 03. EDIT: Tim texted me that he'd be AFK for the next few days, but he's in for Thursday.
  6. I have been tuning in and out of the game doing 4th related stuff this AM. What did he do? There was a double steal and Lucroy had the runner dead to rights at 2nd base. Got him in a rundown, but instead of making the final throw to get him out, Halton threw to 3rd because the runner had rounded the bag (likely on purpose to draw a throw). All runners were safe. It was ridiculous because Halton was feet from tagging Harper but threw across the diamond where the runner was back before the camera even made it over there. It wasn't even close. You had a runner dead, and he's worried about a guy across the diamond who was zero threat of advancing from third to home. Failing to get the easy out needlessly extended the inning and both of those runners ended up scoring. I guess I don't know why I care. Now I see Juan Francisco (after getting thrown out rounding first in the top of the inning) boot an easy sac bunt attempt ... all safe, bases loaded, nobody out. Then a single to drive in two, still nobody out. Then a double-switch to insert Yuni at third and move Francisco to first. Depressing. Time to go out and enjoy Independence Day, I guess...
  7. Man, Logan Schafer can play some outfield. The running catch and laser throw home a couple nights ago was stunning, and now a brilliant piece of thievery three feet above the fence.
  8. Didn't get my text? Sent it to you around 6:30. I think you said you receive texts fine, just don't generally reply?
  9. CANCELLED! The recorded message at 475-8192 and the dude at the field 486-1613 both report no games on Sijan #2, #3, or #4 due to field conditions. (We're Sijan #2 according to the schedule.) Pretty surprising, but the recorded message had a huge list of cancelled fields, they must be taking a beating from the rain. I'm trying to contact everyone.
  10. ROFL. Sounds like I missed a good one. Here's where we're at for tomorrow ... I'll confirm Kenny, Schubert, and Aaron ... that would still leave us one short with both Alan and Radman out. I'll double-check that Jon is out. 01. Beeks 02. Houle 03. Drick 04. nullbyte 05. valpo 06. Robin19 07. Kenny 08. Schubert 09. Aaron 10. Kenny's brother EDIT: Kenny, Schubert, Aaron all confirmed. EDIT: Kenny's brother is our 10th.
  11. I'm back from vacation and IN. I'll have to get the lowdown on what happened last week, I was hoping to hear we pulled out a split with WH. Regarding pitching, I was thinking Schubert or I, with the other at 2B. If someone else really wants to pitch, we can play with it.
  12. I will be OUT for this one (vacation in CA). Assuming Jon is still out, need everyone else for 10.
  13. 01. valpo 02. Houle 03. Beeks 04. Alan (???) 05. Radman 06. Brian 07. nullbyte 08. Drick 09. Kenny 10. Schubert 11. Aaron Looking good, just need to hear from Schubert and Aaron. I'll report back. EDIT: They're both in. Jon still out.
  14. In the OP, why are Lohse's numbers listed as 1-0 2.01 ERA 1.07 WHIP? Should have been more like 1-6 4.39 ERA 1.31 WHIP, right?
  15. Speedster on 2B, no outs. I'd rather send up three hitters with a chance for a base hit to win it than count on executing a sac bunt then executing a sac fly. The book might say otherwise, but i'd rather send up guys to do their normal thing once the runner is in scoring position.
  16. It looks like Jon will be out Thursday, and might be out for the season? But we should still be set with 10 for this week. I might send out feelers to add a new permanent member if Jon is really out for the year ... maybe someone who can split his fee with him $20 / $20.
  17. All right, so we've got 7 confirmed, 1 no, 1 probably not, and 3 unknown. I'll chase down answers from Robin, Schubert, Aaron, and Jon. Hopefully the latter three are all in so we have 10. EDIT: We should have 10 or 11 now. Revised Robin19's status and updated the list based on feedback from Schubert, Aaron, and Jon. IN 01. valpo 02. Kenny 03. DRick 04. Houle 05. Beeks 06. nullbyte 07. radman 08. Robin19 09. Schubert 10. Aaron OUT Alan Jon
  18. I think Robin19 might be out for this game, so hopefully there's no more than one other... 01. valpo 02.
  19. Thanks Brian. Lineup and positions below. We'll make changes based on our subs and especially if we have extras ... anyone who went out of their way to sub for us today should get decent playing time in the field. SS Schubert 3B Houle LF Alan LC Beeks CC or 2B Robin19 DH or RC valpo CC or RF nullbyte 1B Kenny PP Radman RC Sub 1 ?? Sub 2
