    What planet do you live on? He traveled with the team on the last road trip and threw a simulated game for 2 innings at MP yesterday. And he is often in the dugout at home games. But what do I know, I'm not a true fan according to you Thank you for that wonderful tip.

    Golly, I'll bet they just cringed after being informed of their improper behavior by you. Booing does nothing positive, especially for the players players that are doing bad that hear it. It's mostly the drunks that do it anyways. Don't go to a game if your going to get your undies in a bundle because your team isn't doing well. Anyone who boos their favorite team shouldn't call themselves a true fan. Period.

    I was at the game on Monday where fans were booing Turnbow...I mean Gagne. I was appalled and I made sure everyone around me could hear me when I said "you should never boo your own team, thats just wrong"

    I consumed so much alcohol this weekend (including my trip to Miller Park yesterday) that I simply cannot put anymore strain on my liver. This game will drive me to drink again so I'm turning it off.

    can we stop taking the first pitch everytime? If it's there take it! I'm soooo sick of our batters watching that first strike pitch.

    I heard HUGE cheers when our team struck out at the plate well before it was 7-0...more like when it was 1-0. Disgusting. I also disagree that things will change if we start "dominating the division". Cubs fans will not stay away. I would imagine the Cubs are the 3rd most popular team in baseball? That's just a hunch, but throw in the fact we are divisional rivals and it only adds to things. There MUST be some way to stop this, and if I were the owner I'd hire a team of people to brainstorm ways of surpressing it.

    Well, if you want to get intricate, our DOT should setup tolls to get into our state. That's the first step :-) It's not like we can ban Cubs jerseys/shirts from our stadium, although that would be beautiful.

    I'm not talking about the loss, or relating it to the amount of Cubs fans in our stadium. It is embarrassing to me as a fan to know that my fellow fans are selling their tickets to Cubs fans. If I were the owner, I would NEVER allow this to happen. Free market my butt. Do something about it Mark. How can you own a team and allow your team's house to be invading by the enemy? What the hell do you expect Mark Attanasio to do? Once someone buys a ticket, they can basically do whatever they want with it. Let's get a grip here. I sure as hell wouldn't ask you for advise. If you read anything I previously said, I was posting rluzinski's idea of tripling ticket prices. Why not make some extra money off of it? Why do nothing?

    exactly. I was sitting at the bar tonight, and so many people were mad we were losing, but I was furious to hear cheers when our players struck out. So what ,we lost 2 games, big deal there's 2 months of baseball left. My point is that Mark A. must do something about these Cubs fans. I can't even believe it's happening. It's not like we are in last place and tickets are easily attainable.
