    Where did you hear that? I am watching ESPN and they have said that there is a deadline for today and the Cubs have to trade marquis first and have no takers right now. Buster Olney just said it is like a tortoise mating ritual which does not make it sound like it will happen quickly. He also said Vitters will be in the center of the deal which is different than what has been said recently. My bad my bad If you go to cnnsi.com(not ESPN) they have a little caption either on the front page or the mlb section where it said they are just waiting on the Cubs owner to OK the deal or whatever, I didn't get to read the whole thing.

    according to ESPN, Peavy to Cubs sounds pretty much set in stone. Thats a sick rotation that we cannot compete with.

    this is great, I'm under 5 minutes from the Timber Rattlers stadium!!! The only downside to this is I'll be consuming more beer next Summer.

    JJ is refusing a move? Get rid of him, who does he think he is Derek Jeter? I'm not sure if escobar is ready to go yet, though I hope someone other than Ned is ready to decide that. I agree, Trade Prince and put Gamel on 1st. Move Weeks to Guantanamo with the other criminals because that's all he is, a criminally bad baseball player, move Bill Hall there too, lasik my arse the dude is super terrible.

    Take this with a grain of salt, but one of the ushers at Miller Park on Wednesday said that the intensity in the Brewers clubhouse is very low considering they're on the verge of making the playoffs. The morale isn't high apparently. That boggles my mind, but it sure seems to show doesn't it? Oh, and BOOING doesn't help the situation AT ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
