  1. I'll be there trying to bring my Miller Park record to 3-3 on the year. Go Crew!
  2. I tell ya, there's nothing better than a Brewers sweep and downing a couple of High Life's with your closest friends. This is the life.
  3. Welcome sheetace, Your username is certainly appropriate!
  4. Prince is insane. I mean it...what a freak!
  5. More of a baseball crowd it seemed. Oh, no joke! It seemed like everyone in my section knew what was going on and all seemed to provide valuable insight on certain managerial decisions. It seemed like all 41,000+ were bf.netters. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif
  6. I think Suppan should have been pulled after giving up 5. Yost should take a page from Gardenhire's book. Gardenhire didn't have as much of a bullpen dilemna as the Brewers did. If Suppan gets yanked early, Gallardo may have to come in, which ruins his start for Monday. On the other hand, if Yo doesn't pitch today, but the rest of the bullpen picks up 6 innings of slack, we have no one in the 'pen if Yo gets shelled on Monday. We needed Soup to go as long as possible to make the next few days a little easier on the pitching staff. If this was the 7th game of the World Series, I agree with you: Yank Soup earlier, but Yost has other games than today to consider.
  7. Darn. Still a great comeback though...The Crew is probably still feeling good.
  8. Come on Counsell...Get on base...Somehow!
  9. Come on Graffy...No 1-2-3 DP. Please! Come on!!
  10. Good news: Hall gets a hit. Bad news: Johnny Double Play is up...
  11. A Prince Fielder Inside the Park Home Run: The fastest 3 minutes in baseball. Holy cow! Let's win this!!!!!!!!!
  12. Holy cow. What provoked this?
  13. The Dome can make 20,000 fans sound like 100,000, but it was still cool to see and hear that much Brewers fever, especially on the Salami. I did indeed hear a "Let's go Brewers" chant on the FSN Broadcast in the 9th, but it was pretty faint, as chants on TV tend to be. I liked Shouse coming in and getting the unconventional save. Granted it was a low-pressure situation, he looked solid, which is very encouraging. I'm just worried that we'll see a key situation that calls for a LOOGY tomorrow and Shouse won't be availible (or if he is, not as sharp). Might we see a few lefties in a row in the Twins lineup tomorrow?
  14. I love hearing Brewers fans at an opposing park instead of the other way around. I hope there's plenty to cheer about this weekend.
  15. Yes! WOOOOOOOO! Biggest win of the year right there...At least in the top 5. Last night's too.
  16. This is waaaaay too stressful. Pleeeeeeeeeease KoKo! OK, one more to go...
  17. Urgh. I hate this http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/frown.gif
  18. Corey Hart! And Ueck says..."Good call!"
  19. Woo! Holy cow BH! That's like his 3rd spectacular catch in a couple days.
  20. BrewCrew04, Congrats on the IGT's 50,000th post ever. Can we get out of this somehow?
  21. OBP of .149 vs. lefties Wow. Awful. But still a nice job...He got it done!
  22. Might also have something to do with the fact that Sheffield is about eight times the hitter that Graffanino is. True, but Sheets is about 8 times the pitcher that Ledezma is.
  23. So is the problem our hitters just aren't trying to get hits with RISP? I'm not sure what you're trying to say. Of course not. We've just stranded more than our fair share in 3 out of the past 4 games and a lot of it has to do with a lack of fundamentals, which is in stark contrast to the Tigers. Case in point: 5th inning - With Graffy up and 2 RISP, he strikes out swinging on 3 pitches, including a couple low and inside. In the bottom half, Sheffield battles Sheets for a great at bat and drives in a run. The difference was in the approach, and the Brewers are lacking it. Balks and Wild Pitches help though http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
