    When you give up a grand slam in a tie game in the top of the 9th, you're going to get booed. There's no way around it, Johnny. This coming from the guy who made a bad decision to throw the ball to 3rd base on that bunt. I agree with you guys that giving up a salami in the 9th will get boos from any crowd, but keep in mind that Greg Aquino didn't ground into a double play with runners on first and third and one out. He also isn't responsible for another RISP fiasco. Like Estrada said, it was a team loss, and I'm sure he would be just as quick to say that it was a mistake to throw to third on that bunt. I don't blame him for trying to defend one of his guys. It shows the strength of the team, IMO.

    IIRC, Bush got OWNED at GABP last year. Then again, that happened pretty much everywhere on the road to him, especially in the hitters parks.

    Just got back from softball practice, would anybody be so kind as to give me a real quick-like rundown of the action so far? The Brewers got 1 in the first with a mini two-out rally...Another with a Ricky Weeks solo homer in the 3rd. Corey Hart drove in two with a shot down the right field line off Victor Santos. Cappy had a two hit shutout going until this inning, when an error by Hardy started this error fest. 4-3 Brewers.

    I hope this isn't one of those things were one mistake makes the whole game snowball out of control like Yesterday. Adam Dunn up with 2 on...This game could be almost back where it started with one swing.

    What a 24hr turnaround. It seemed like that 2nd FL game (was it just last night?) was going to be called when FL was leading by a run. Now look at us... one over and tied for first I agree that it's awesome. I couldn't be happier, but this also shows how quickly things can change. Remember the emotional roller coaster we got in 2006? And yes, Turnbow and Cordero have been great. I still would like to see Turnbow get knocked around once or twice though, just to see if he can recover from a confidence blow, unlike last year. If he can do that, I'll be ready to say that he's back. Anyway, good series Crew!

    I'm so pumped for this game, seeing as it's the first one I get to see this year. I've been in Boston the past week and could only get score updates via ESPN or word of mouth (I was actually touring Fenway during Sheeter's 2-hitter). Light 'em up Offense and Shut 'em down Dave!

    Latest beefs: -Ending sentences with the word "at" -The PC / Mac Commericials. -The way Digger Phelps says the word, "Washington" ("Worshington") -Playing a game with refs that have never seen Big Ten Basketball. (No, the officiating in the Badger game wasn't actually unfair, but the constant whistles for breathing on somebody wrong, on both sides, was annoying.)
