  1. That's how you score RISP, folks. I hope our guys on the bench were taking notes.
  2. 5 LOB through 2. Yuck. At least we got the lead.
  3. Alright, we can do it! We've got this one! Fly ball, basehit, homerun, squeeze, anything!
  4. Amuse yourself by trying to count the graduation speakers' cliches. Like "This is not an ending, but really a beginning." I graduated Madison Memorial last year, and with one of our speakers, you could've sworn he spent the night before copying a book of clichees into his speech. Awful. Good luck graduating.
  5. Thanks. Glad I wasn't able to see that. I'll probably get to see the Brewers fail to drive home runners in scoring position and make another dumb mistake in an inning or so. Well, there ya go.
  6. Dpapo, It was a shallow fly on the first pitch...Hart bluffed going to the plate, which drew a throw...Hardy attempted to go to 2nd on the throw, the throw to the plate was cut-off and Hardy was thrown out. On the bright side, Villanueva is solid as always.
  7. It's like these guys are playing the "Find the new and creative ways to blow seemingly easy scoring opportunities" game. The game was perfected by the 2004 Brewers and this year's club is making them proud.
  8. Crap. No Cappy. So It's Villy tonight I'm assuming?
  9. I'm going to jinx it early before its too late: Justin Verlander is pitching a perfect game. Soup aint doin' too bad though. Also, Comerica is just his kind of ballpark. Edit: Also, no offense to Yost, but I can't help but think how lucky the Tigers are to have Jim Leland.
  10. We've been in first place for about 2 months. It's a good time to be a Brewer fan!!! Hey! Wrong Thread! http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif
  11. Happy birthday crewcrazy. I hope the Brewers give you extra reason to celebrate like they did for me on my birthday (They won twice in one evening vs. Marlins). This pitching matchup looks great on paper: A hot Sheets vs. he with a 6+ ERA. Go Brewers.
  12. Urgh. What a sad loss...It's time to drink to forget. Who's with me?
  13. Let's go: 5K for Diaz! Come on Villy! Edit: Nevermind. That run hurts. I have witnessed ever Ranger score this game, and not a single Brewers run. Maybe I should turn off my radio...
  14. I agree with not putting Hall as the DH, as the more comfortable he gets in center, it seems the more comfortable he gets at the plate, but putting him 8th in the order vs. Estrada 5th? I would love to know the thought process there...
  15. I'm disappointed with the out, but there was one thing I loved about that play: JJ to right-center.
  16. There's your fastest 60-yard dash Brewer, folks.
  17. Any guesses on the crowd % yet? I'd say 50-50, maybe even 60-40 Brewers.
  18. #20! Prince rules. Opposite field no less. However, we aren't going to get very far this season hitting 3-4 solo shots but leaving 12 guys on base per game. Edit: We will get very far if we keep facing teams that don't know that catching = outs. Wow.
  19. This is stupid. 2 Innings. 0 runs. 5 LOB. 2 DP. What is this, 2004?
  20. The Cardinals, Cubs, and Pirates are all winning. Yes, I know it's June 3rd, but blowing this game and having those teams win would make me a little grumpy.
