    Did anyone see Bonds ejection last night? Bonds was arguing a ball/strike call in the 9th inning. After the situation appeared to blow over before the next pitch, the ump starting getting in Bonds face, instead of the other way around. When Bonds argued, he was tossed. Edit: I guess the Giants fans caused an 11 minute delay when they threw garbage and bottles onto the field after the ejection.

    I'm a little worried about Bush today. A lot of his success comes from that slow breaking-ball that really keeps hitters off balance. At Coors Field however, breaking balls really flatten out. If the slow-curve abandons him, he'll have to work on some other off-speed stuff or else the Rox will just sit on that fastball all night and Bish will be gone by the 3rd inning. Come on boys, some road success tonight, eh?

    Holy cow, David Bell is busy at third tonight. He's leading off the 9th, hopefully he can be busy there too...

    Ueck is angry about the people criticizing the Lee/Mench deal. For one, he is saying that it's total "bunk" for anyone to say that if they waited another day, they could've have gotten anybody better. He specifically targetted "radio talk-show hosts," saying they have "no idea" what goes on in trade negotiations. The tone of his voice was something I'd never heard before. Kinda scary, but I was rooting for him.

    Brewers fans should be in abundance at Coors Field this week, or so past history suggests. It seems Coors Field has not been has not been as popular of a hitter's haven this season, and we know that Cappy can pitch well there (2-0 victory there last August, driving in the only two runs himself).

    Do we have a chance at the WC, or am i dreaming again? Get over .500, or within 2 games of the WC, and then we can talk, but the past two games were indeed positives.

    Plus I saw him get tossed at Miller Park last year for arguing balls and strikes and he was just beligerant - he actually tossed his helmet and nailed the bat boy. Now that you mention that, I think I remember. May of 2005 I believe... Hopefully we don't get any of those hijinks in the couple of months that he's here. Edit: Although I do remember last year in Philly the fans were booing him during a slump he was having right after his uncle died in Iraq. Ueck mentioned that if he came to Milwaukee, they'd probably give him a standing ovation given what he was going through at the time.

    I kinda of want the lead to stay at 6-3 now. A semi-comfortable cushion for Turnbow where only a complete disaster could result in a blown save. While I'm not ruling out a disaster, I'm still happy for a 6-3 lead going in to the 9th. (*knocks on wood*)

    Good game. Sloppy, but good. I like me some Billy Hall...going on another huge tear? Those were two mammoth shots. -30,000+ in attendance for a Monday night game vs. Pittsburgh after a dismal road trip...Good job Crew fans!
