No offense Blazer, but until there's good reason to think otherwise, I'll choose to believe that Yo isn't blatantly lying about things.

    My knees aren't even close to Major League baseball player caliber knees, and I could stand on a mound after months of inactivity, throw heaters and not tear cartilage in my knees requiring surgery. (though i'd probably blow out my shoulder after a while). I'm not trying to stir the pot I'm just wondering. I guess my point was that (not taking into account Blazer's allegation) he probably would have had swelling prior to that day if something was really messed up, but maybe not.

    They found out about it now because it happened now. He hurt it and the knee swelled up that day. It wasn't a "condition", just something that happened while practicing.

    What's stunning about those 2 though, is that the timing is *exact*. They enter the chorus and verse at the exact same beat, that's almost impossible unless you're literally copying the song.

    I "get" alcoholism, but I don't get how someone gets arrested for drunken driving 7 times. I agree, they should be thrown in jail and/or rehab before then.

    He means "i.e.", but probably more accurately, "e.g.", that is, for example.

    That is correct (which I also didn't know until a year or 2 ago. Sundays are considered "Feast days", because technically it's 45 days from Ash Wednesday to Easter, so you have the 40 days of Lent plus 5 Sundays, which aren't included, thus the Lenten "rules" don't apply.

    Beat me to it. I don't miss that sort of garbage at all. Or like Nelly singing "It's gettin hot in here" had some huge mass appeal for anyone out of high school. Heck I say they let U2 play every couple years..

    No FedEx pigeon mentions? That was great. JT was good too, and the coke and bud ones were ok. I'm still shocked that someone at SalesGenie thought those ads were a good idea. Unbelievable.
