  1. Clark HAS to dive head first to maximize battlness.
  2. It's looking like the Brewers will actually have a worse record than last year. Who th ehell would have believed that when the Crew was 7 over .500? WOW.
  3. It's getting to the point where I don't even want Sheets on this team; he deserves better. Pathetic
  4. What happened to all of Yost's talk about Krynzel and Mcgrudder gettiong a bunch of starts??
  5. I guess I would call my old college, the "middle UW, as in Milwaukee?
  6. Ya know, I;m still pissed when thinking about Yost saying Obby is in there as our best option. PA-LEASE.
  7. I think the idea is that many games are still played in bad weather, but it keeps the fans away. It wasn't even worth gouing to Brewer games early in the season in County, but in Miller Park you don't even have to worry about it. How many times pree Miller Park did you not even consider going to a game because the weather MIGHT be bad?
  8. I don't think it's a stretch, assuming Davis is good to go on Wed, that we could win the next 2. That would put us at 62-76 and in 5th place in the NL Central. It would also put us on pace for 72-74 wins, which I'd be happy with at this point. Better than 56 wins I guess. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/indifferent.gif
  9. There's Sheets pitching like he did in the first half. Almost unhittable. Why couldn't I have watched that game!!?? http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  10. HR by Ginter! He sure has hit the ground running. It would be nice for him to finish strong and secure the starting second base spot for next year http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/nerd.gif
  11. Sheets will get 12 or 13 this year... I can FEEL it http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  12. Hey, I'm just being realistic. You guys can go on and on about how the Brewers should sign Kolb to a 3 year $15 mil contract, but it's just not going to happen. The good news is, because of Kolb's recent struggles it doesn't need to happen. I suppose if Kolb had been perfect all year and the Crew declined to pay him the $5 mil a year you would have complained that they weren't committed to the furture. Closers are overated anyway. Now atleast the Brewers will be able to resign Kolb to something alot closer to his actual worth.
  13. I was happy to see Kolb blow the save. We can actually afford to sign him now. Hopefully it will be for only one year and we can pick up a nice AAA prospect mis-season next year.
  14. Well, I'm going to the game tomm. I will simply go to enjoy the atmoshpere. If they win, great, if not they are simply closer to the #1 draft pick! http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  15. Yost sure loved to have pitchers fail at moving the runner over in teh 5th or the 6th. Make sure yoyu save that bullpen, Yost!
  16. What was the problem with Jenkins today, Mr. Meaningless hit. Today would have been another perfect time for him to bust up the shutout and pad his stats with a HR to have the team only fall by 9 instead of 10. When a team is usually losing by multiple runs, it's kinda hard to always hit the game winner.
  17. Nothing to fear, now that Yost got ejected he's motivated the team. They are going to win 25 straight to get back into the wildcard hunt!
  18. Yost must have been teaching Davis another "lesson" when he let him bat and then pulled him. Yost has proven many times lessons are more important than winning. What a mentor.
  19. ANOTHER error by Bill Hall.
  20. What is up with Ginter's injury anyway?? I've heard nothing.
  21. Unless Bill Hall can learn how to get on base, he isn't going to be in the major leagues long.
  22. rain delay = mercy rule....
  23. Win win today: 1. Draft slot keeps getting better. 2. A couple more outings like this for Kolb and the Crew will EASILY be able to afford him next year.
