  1. If it is Detroit, it will be interesting to see what the cost will be.
  2. It's a huge gamble for the Cards. I don't think it's going to pay off well. And that's absolutely fine with me. I want the Cards to fight with the Cubs for the eternal NL Central doormat.
  3. Yes. This could be huge and push the Brewers into the playoffs, or totally blow up.
  4. It's in the transactions thread about the Rays.
  5. This one is tough. It's about the only way to get Price. But Price, Garza, Lohse, Yo and #5 is pretty tough. Coulter is probably the one that makes me the most hesitant. Sure, if he sticks at catcher, he's blocked by Luc, and probably doesn't hit MLB for 2-3 years. And we've seen what happened with LaPorta, the hot hitting prospect that didn't have a position. I just don't know if the upside is worth it.
  6. I'm good with that, as long as LaRussa is high on the list to go into the asterisk wing.
  7. They'll need to add about 8 pieces.
  8. Sure, Braun, Garza, Lohse, A-Ram, Go-Go and Lucroy for the entire Astros farm system. Absolutely, I'd do that!
  9. The Cards are depleted with injuries. Both on the pitching side and playing side. The healthy players they have aren't that good. They'd have to trade away a majority of their farm system to have really good players. As long as the Brewers can maintain health, get Henderson and Thornburg back and bring up Jeffress, as well as having Nelson replace Estrada and get a first baseman, things will be good.
  10. Wow. Words cannot express the sadness for Jean and his family. Baseball is just a game.
  11. That's just asking for bad karma dude. Seriously? I'll retract it when the bad karma happens.
  12. Woohoo!!!! The Cards are sinking ship!!! Gotta love it!!!
  13. Nope. Will not look. That is probably something that only Mrs. Fielder needs to see. And probably cannot be unseen.
  14. Brewers will go 25-0. Conversely, the Cardinals will go 0-25. In all reality, though. Toronto 1-1 Cincy 2-1 Philly 3-1 STL 3-0 Wash 1-2 Cincy 2-1 Mets 3- 1 Tampa 2-1 17-8. Yeah, it's optimistic. But it seems that everything is falling the Brewers way.
  15. New ownership, same crap. I feel bad for Bucks fans. Milwaukee actually has been a good basketball town in the past. But when you're continually fed mediocre, garbage or mediocre garbage, you tend to give up.
  16. Looks like the Nets and Bucks are talking compensation for Kidd. http://probasketballtalk.nbcsports.com/2014/06/29/report-nets-done-with-jason-kidd-discussing-compensation-with-bucks-for-hiring-him-away/
  17. I figured that would be the feeling. No doubt Kidd would be atrocious on so many levels. I thought it was interesting to start a search when Hammond/Drew are still in place. Even if Kidd is President of Basketball Ops, he had an alright first year as a head coach with no coaching experience. Why not try to improve his skills there? It makes me wonder what his endgame is, if he actually has one.
  18. What would you think about this? http://www.sbnation.com/nba/2014/6/28/5853726/brooklyn-nets-jason-kidd-milwaukee-bucks Kidd or Drew?
  19. Parker it is!
  20. I was at a friend's house playing volleyball until about 11:30. I watched the 30 for 30 and completely forgot all of the things in sports going on at that time. Rangers won the cup, Arnie's last US Open, the OJ drama, World Cup and NBA finals.
  21. I know. My point was that it really doesn't matter to me, as a Brewer fan. Unless it makes the Cards worse. Which helps the Brewers.
  22. Wait, what? Wacha and Garcia are having Tommy John surgery? Awesome! Helps the Brewers. That's really all I care about. The Brewers. And anything that helps them get better. And anything that makes the other teams in the division worse.
