  1. TB with another very intriguing player in O'Connor. As a pitcher his FB touched 95, good power potential, no consensus on his position though they drafted him as a C.
  2. Nevermind that we had just traded Cruz and Lee for a closer and sure FA was the only option.
  3. I want him signed by Friday! Seriously though, that's great to read.
  4. Damn, I wanted Bedrosian later in the draft, curse you LAA.
  5. Rogers was OK... not good, not bad. 85 pitches, 52 for strikes, and only 1 walk. I don't understand the whole Narron deal, but he's picking up right where he left off, and I don't mean that in a good way.
  6. Damn St Louis with a good pick in Cox.
  7. I'll be honest, my initial gut reaction was base entirely on everyone labeling him "a safe pick", a concept I'm generally not thrilled about.
  8. Actually I liked what I read about Fotynewicz, his FB gets up to 96 and it has good sink.
  9. I had no idea his dad is a power lifter, dammit, I liked him before I read that, I'm really into him now, he'll understand strength building. TB, always impressive, rotten bastids.
  10. Yea I liked what I read about Josh, they have enough pitching, take a shot with power potential.
  11. Nah they won't make it past the supplemental round, too bad we don't have picks there this year.
  12. TB with a solid pick in Sale.
  13. Wow the Cubs take a D2 guy, please be a reach that doesn't work out.
  14. His FB has good run.. my initial reaction was disappointment, but the more I consider this pick, the more I like it. Generally speaking I'm into Curve Ball, Change Up pitchers, pitchers that can reach the mid 90s, and pitchers who's FB has good run. Covey fits all of my personal criteria so if he signs quickly I'll probably end up thrilled with him down the road.
  15. The core of the Brewers is going to be together for a while? Really? you mean like through next season?
  16. The more I read about him, the less I liked him, he's slipping to us and fits the profile though... edit. I'm not sure slipping is the proper term.. he's been all over the place in these mock drafts, I'm just uneasy with him being on the board.
  17. Ohh my god don't give Dusty Baker credit for anything...-
  18. I agree trwi7, let's get back to Trenni interviews. Law is taking all the drama out of the draft!
  19. His past is actually not that bad, this year was his first kinda big injury and he recovered pretty quick to come really strong at the end of the season...Right now I'd love him or Sale because out of the pitchers left they prob have the highest ceiling Highest ceiling? If you're talking college pitchers I'd agree, but Allie has a better arm than most of these guys.
  20. Yep the only reason they are interviewing the GMs is because the SDs are actually busy working
  21. Nice pick for Padres, Whitson
  22. Not a surprise considering they gave the pick away 15 minutes ago, I personally think this is a bit of reach.
  23. Good I didn't want Harvey on the board when the Brewers drafted. LOL 156 pitch start? College coaches have no shame.
