    Gagne is like a high maitenance hot girlfriend..all these quirks are fine when they are hot (i.e. LA) not after they got addicted to Meth and lost al their teeth (ie.. Now)

    Is that like Rip Hamilton still wearing his facemask? Doesn't that have "head case" written all over it right there? and even if he is so.. I think a batted ball off the eye would be a concern for all pitchers whether they have an eye socket injury.. stupid french canadians.

    Yovani Gallardo is a pitcher. Yes.. though I would take Yo hitting over Chad Moeller..

    But you're getting a fastball on the first pitch, so why waste it? Ok.. we can go all night with you making my argument for me.. yes why waste a fastball by bunting it when if Yo gets a hit you have 2 chances to get the runner in.. especially knowing that even if Yo misses he is good enough to get a bunt down and also knowing that a sac still requires 2 hits to get Hall in..

    This reminds me of the Brewers young pitchers last year when they would tire all of a sudden.. let's hope that is what is happening.

    If the pitcher can get a guy to second, you get the guy to second. Yo's a decent hitter, but not good enough to get into mind games. Again.. since he is such a good hitter he most likely can get the bunt down with 1 strike which by the way he did so based on results it wasn't a bad decision and if you looked at the scenarious it probably wouldn't make much difference either way but was probably slightly on the side of a good idea..

    Yo's a good enough hitter where I'd expect him to be able to bunt a fastball. Exactly so Yost probably figured give him a good pitch to hit and maybe get a single or a double.. problem with bunting in general there is best case you get Kendall up with a guy on 2nd and 2 out and the OF playing in with Kendall so a hit probably doesn't score anyways..

    What did they make you want to do when they weren't 13-9 with a roster stocked with young players who will only improve as the year goes on and losing 100 games a year?

    Probably thinking that they would be expecting bunt and throw Yo a fastball to get him to pop up.. so let him swing away..

    They really need Jen Sheets to get back in the rotation so they can get down to a reasonable number of pitchers..

    with only 2 bench guys (they won't PH Rivera) I am guessing they are figuring they will need a hitter bottom of 9 so Yo is the next best option ..

    Yeah.. not sure how I feel about that.. history tells us to be concerned but then again it isn't like 95 and humid and it was in 2 hours so he did sit much between innings..

    Yes.. it doesn't appear he is finishing on his curveball and his fastball is starting to get up.. looks to be tiring.. have to think this will be his last inning.

    How were those two pitches to Jr not strike three after what they have called on the Brewers.. if you are going to be incompetent at least be consistent about it.

    I thought that was an energizer bunn commerical.. I could not believe it was real.

    I agree that the strike zone this series has been very generous but at some point you have to realize that as a hitter and understand with 2 strikes you have to swing.. also our pitchers need to take advantage of that.
