    I agree on Eveland.. not a stellar outing but kept his team in it through 5.. Offense needs to do what the Phillies did and beat up on a rookie.. 2 weeks ago everybody was screaming for Eveland.. I think Hendrickson is on a shorter leash than Dana..

    I retract my Villanueva comment. I agree Jackson is next on the list.. Could be worse we could have Glendon Roush, Franklin, and Kinney in the rotation...

    Eveland will be fine eventually.. the problem is that the Crew can't work him in a number 5 who they can ease in.. with Hendrickson as 5, he is cleary looked on as the number 4. The bigger concern is after 3 years in AAA Hendrickson is still not ready to pitch in the majors.

    I think the next starting pitcher they call up if it gets to that point is Villenueva.. Sarfate doesn't thow strikes enough yet...

    If they pull Eveland early.. you almost have to pitch Hendrickson and then start DLR on Saturday don't you?
