I agree a slam here would pretty much shake Izzy for the season..
  2. Trowekamp
Watching Jenkins play these days generates the same feeling as when the vet tells you it is time to put your childhood dog down. Just sad..

I take full responsibility... Nice to see the cardinals rolling to an easy victory tonight.. Hopefully my powers are still in effect.
  4. Trowekamp
By the way can we just ship Yo to Milwaukee tomorrow to take DLR's next turn? Of course I am kidding.. but on second thought maybe not..

Alright.. hey I respect the fact that not mentioning it is kind of community challenge of wills which I obviously failed at.. it did not occur to me not to say anything because I was not playing.. if I had been playing then yes I would have been quiet but we are fans not players. The reason I come to Brewerfan.net is to find out things I do not know and discuss these things with sports fans. I also like somebody alerting me that something cool is in progress so I can follow it which was my intent. Of course after someone mentioned a jinx I took the ribbing in good nature until I thought it crossed the line. If that was not the intent of the last couple of posts then I rescind my previous.. one.. Onto more fun stuff... Nice to see the Power have the bats out tonight.

Of course mentioning something in a minor league A game 3000 miles from where I am calls for a ban but personal attacks of course are fine.. Go back to your dungeon and dragons game...

It is killing Huntsville fans right now to watch the Brevard county rotation? Of course with the lineup in Huntsville currently Rogers and Gallardo would have to pitch like this every night for them to win the title..

Now you guys are just trying to make me laugh...
  9. Trowekamp
Toby when I start worrying about jinxing a minor league game I will need to stop watching baseball : )
  10. Trowekamp
I have been laughing at all the people who were complaining about picking a HS pitcher this year.. Yeah.. I prefer the Brewers to not have Garrison, Inman, Yo, and Rogers... People need to think a little...
  11. Trowekamp
The big question will they let Yo go all 9 for the somethingorother? EDIT: To remove the thingy that shouldn't be there. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif -PF

Eveland also on a K-fest tonight through 4...
  13. Trowekamp
Looks like Rogers hit a wall in the 8th with 3 run (though he struck out 2 more). I am surprised they did not shut him down after 7..
  14. Trowekamp
Fans in Huntsville have to be begging for a couple of Brevard County's rotation right now don't they? Not to mention Katin and Braun to give them some offense..
  15. Trowekamp
See you guys in 1 week.. hopefully Ned will make the correct decision by then..
  16. Trowekamp
If Soriano hits a grand slam I am going to take a 1 week Brewer sabbatical..
  17. Trowekamp
I almost agree.. now watch DLR walk Armas to load the bases for the leadoff hitter.. I mean that is the way the last week has going.. as much I like Ned he is O fer the last week on correct decisions.
  18. Trowekamp
Don't look now but 3 straight good starts by the Brewers.. if Jackson can plug the 5th hole maybe they will turn this around.. I would tak out DLR let him go six next time.. I would bring in Kolb and then let Wise pitch 2 and then bring in Turnbow... after Prince's 3 run HR in the 7th..
  19. Trowekamp
At this point it is a friggin miracle that the score is 2-0.. I predict a 6 - 3 Brewer victory... now where is my crack pipe...I left it here somewhere..
  20. Trowekamp
So judging from how the Nashville players have done this year in AAA and the majors.. how long before the PCL kicks them out to play in their own AAAA league?
  21. Trowekamp
I know they don't want to push pitcher's but when do the consider moving Gallardo up to AA? Goodness knows with Garrison in A know that Inman could move to High A
  22. Trowekamp
Insult to injury.. Hendrickson pitched well and Demario threw 3 shutout innings..
  23. Trowekamp
I think it is a good bet Hart is playing for Jenks tomorrow..
  24. Trowekamp
I think it is about time for a Carlos Walkoff... Edit: Or not...
  25. Trowekamp
seriously.. I know there are a group of Jenkins fanatics on this board.. but 0-5 with 3 K's... he shoudn't be batting 6th much less third... Of course you only here them pipe up when he finds 1 of his 2 hits a week..
