i live 6 feet from the road in an old hosue...all sounds are as if i were outside...harley davidsons drown out my television when they drive by... saying this pisses me does not go far enough... Same here. I hate that about Milwaukee. I have a church festival accross the street from my house every August-I don't sleep that weekend...
People who don't understand that the left lane is a passing lane, namely people from Minnesota. I thought us people in Wisconsin had that locked up. Drive from Milwaukee to Rockford, the idoits in the left lane usually have Wisconsin plates. It's embarrassing...http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/embarassed.gif
People complain too much, yet here I am complaining about people. I guess I'm just venting. Maybe they don't complain too much, they just have too high expectations and are angered when those expectations are not met. I wish I could tell everyone who complains to me to stay at an Exel Inn or a Motel 6, then come back and see how nice our hotel really is. You have a right to vent about people having this sense of being entitled to everything. There needs to be "Customer to Hell Day" rather than appreciating them. But, only once a year...maybe twice.
And Uecker reads two consectutive ads for Charter and Time Warner High Speed Internet. "Pick the one you want!" http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/roll.gif
For some reason I'm really annoyed lately by people who, when you ask them a question that they don't hear or understand, say "do what?" Just quickly reply to them by saying, "What?" and walk away.
I know Pujols has an exceptionally good eye, but it sure seems like whenever he comes up the strike zone shrinks in all directions. Plus, Pujols has a reletively crouched stance, which shrinks the zone even more.
Sheets is my favorite player and I defend him all the time... ...but maybe he should learn how to get Pujols out. I mean, Albert owns Sheets like Sheets is a AA pitcher] It's almost like Sheets is scared of him. He needs to be fearless and agressive like he was there with Wilson.
The betting thing... Andy is now Drew...? The watermelon on Staney's car... A big plus for me is the lack of Jim and Pam stuff. Very well done episode.
But the Angry Plumber, Cappy, Suppan, CV the Younger (who I know isn't starting, but still adheres), and the Sheeter (especially) make you work for first base. Wait. Who's the Angry Pumber? I missed something...
As a reformed math geek, it's not that you'll use subsets or Venn Diagrams terribly often outside the classroom. That's also not the point. I'm sure the point is to get the math portion of my brain some exercise, but this stuff just seems like advanced 'which one of these things is not like the other?' Grrrrrr! Looking ahead in my book, there doesn't seem to be as much of this, so hopefully I will make it through the class.
