    And....what is with the baserunning blunders on this team. Is this a direct result of Svuem coaching 3rd base. I seem to remember having this problem two seasons ago when Svuem was at 3rd base, but not so much last year.

    Bullpen management issues and debates are so exhausting to read and comprehend. Long-term, short-term, blah blah blah. No offense to you guys debating this, but I dont think there is seemingly a foolproof reasoning behind any of it. I think there are percentages with things in the short term, but long term offers so many if, come, maybe's that you almost have to play for today and make today's win just as important as a potential september situation.

    Cordero only goes 1 inning, that's awesome. A little more credence to what Ned was thinking last year in not bringing in Cordero in 8th inning jams. Maybe there's a book out on Cordero that says he doesnt do well beyond 3 outs.

    I don't care for open wheel racing and don't follow Danica Patrick, but it is interesting to note that it's another story of women breaking barriers in professional sports. Good for her. To add a Brewers twist, do you ever think we will see the day of women allowed or good enough in the MLB? Lisa Fernandez comes to mind, I'm sure she could hit a fastball and play catcher or something? I'm neither advocating it or ruling it out, just a thought.

    We haven't won a "gravy day" on the road since 2004. The approach to a game should be no different just because we have that mentality that we've already won the series. Have we really not swept a series on the road in almost 4 years? Wow, I did not know this.

    I dont know that banned bats make a difference when the tennis court fence comes into play at what seems like 220'. Combine that with a grass infield and I am very disappointed in the facilities. But, both teams have to play on it, so no biggie. I'm not advocating changes, just simply stating my availability if it makes sense to improve at other places. It'll be a learning process that's going to take a few games. I didnt do the team any favors by missing practice this morning, however with the baby being due in just over a week, the missus woulda killed me if I didnt go to her appt.

Let's get some runs! I was impressed with the defense and thought we made the plays when the ball wasnt hit over the 220ft fence in left or the outhouse in right. I didn't think the walks hurt us, but I am available to pitch if that's what you want Kenny and if radman needs a switchout. The thought is not a direct result of your pitching radman by any means, they just hit the ball really well. The guy that played LC has a great arm for SS as well. I'm not one of those guys that has to play SS or I whine about it. I'll move if it helps the team get better somewhere. Can't wait for the 2nd game! Enjoy the week all! ~~Luke

    Does anybody get special orders and it seems as if the restaurant is picking on you on purpose? For example, at Taco Bell this morning, I ordered an item without lettuce and another item without onions. The one item had one piece of lettuce on it and the other item had two freakin onions. Like they were laughing in my face. Bwahahhaha, we put an onion on there, see if you can find it!

    They put up metal bleacher type seating in the RC outfield, just to the center field side of the visiting bullpen and just to the right field side of the C-IT-GO pump. Very unattractive, like the seating you would see at a high school baseball game.

    only 4 walks. The walks didnt hurt too bad, they just hit the ball really well.

    Shorts, however it's still considered COLD to me until it reaches 70, so sweatpants for me tonight. Baseball pants are not baggy enough for me.
