  1. Sorry, tristar I dont get the question. 1 item per person per player is the easiest explanation I can think of to a a question I think you are asking.
  2. Well, if we are keeping it clean, we'll stick with the first example. But yeah, you have 7 guys eligible at OF and I'll make an offer as to not turn this thread it a Fantasy baseball discussion American Heritage Dictionary - Cite This Source - Share This pleth·o·ra (pl?th'?r-?) Pronunciation Key n. A superabundance; an excess. An excess of blood in the circulatory system or in one organ or area.
  3. BTW Joey, send me some of your plethora of outfielders.
  4. They did hand out vouchers last year for people in the "2nd group" because they did not want people standing in long lines expecting to get an autograph and be disappointed. This year, they will be doing it for both groups I've heard. They seemingly have a good idea how many can make it through the line on average given the time frame for those sets of players.
  5. Opening Weekend might be a good draw, but this is really opening weekdays. Putting the Cubs at Miller Park in the first weekdays in April, would certainly help sell those 2nd and 3rd games of the year that normally dont get draw good numbers. While the Brewers dont need help with Opening day, they typically sell slow for weekdays and the 2nd and 3rd game. But yeah, the Cubs should never open the season at home. It's not fair, but Milwaukee dealt with it for years and years before they built a domed stadium.
  6. However, once the vouchers are handed out, you already have one. So....you could just walk back towards the "2nd group" and see if anybody wants to trade? It might force you to the back end of that line, but the Brewers will honor your voucher regardless, so if waiting is not a big deal for you, I'd give that a try.
  7. As I expected, I'll be sorely disappointed if opening day can't be enjoyed due to the weather elements. 3 days out, so I'd be fairly confident in the reliability of the forecast. Something tells me in my gut there will be no game on Monday and not having to work will be in vain. The schedule makers are morons. For those not wanting to look, it's 60% chances of rain storms http://www.weather.com/weather/tenday/USIL0225?from=search_10day On the other hand, Friday in Milwaukee looks like 43 degrees with morning clouds and sunny skies. Enjoy the tailgatting.
  8. Yeah -- If you hauled ass at 9 -- and got to be first(ish) in line for Braun, and got Braun -- by the time you got through you probably won't have enough time to get through the line again, but I don't see why you couldn't get in line for Braun and just let people go past you, until they swapped. Yes and No Joey. If the player you want is on the warning track locations then yes, allowing people to skip you until the session you want is plausible. Might look silly if you have to do it for 10 minutes, but plausible. But in no way will it work for the field and loge level autograph stands. Once the lines start, they will start to hand out vouchers. I'm not sure of the exact number, but say it's 250 per "session or group". If you are 160th in line, but dont want the the first "group", they aren't going to allow you to just be skipped over, have you count back to 251st, jump to that spot in the line and be 1st for the 2nd "group". Does that make sense how I worded that? So just allowing people to skip you will not work out.
  9. No, he will not be a right handed hitting Gwynn Jr. He doesn't slap the ball around like TGJ and he's not overly fast. In the last three seasons, he's had just twelve stolen base attempts and was caught 5 of those times. He seemingly has more power than TGJ considering he does hit for extra bases at a decent clip, however nothing like Mike Cameron. Baseball-reference has him listed as a similiar hitter as Mike Lamb, Danny Bautista, Coco Crisp and Milton Bradley. Most similiar by age and skills to Todd Hollandsworth and Jermaine Dye. He did play all 3 outfield positions for the Boston Red Sox in their World Championship run in 2004, as well ast 2005 & 2006. He batted all over for the Red Sox. Gabe Kapler By Game but I would say the majority was at 8th.
  10. Is the "Jenkins Jungle" sign still up in left? Nope, I watched them finally take her down last wednesday.
  11. I know I'm probably in the Minority, but I'd have to say Tony Gwynn Jr. This guy battled all those emotions against one of the best closers in the decade with a nasty curve, down two strikes, two outs in the 9th and just raked a triple to give the Brewers their first winning season in 15 years?!!?!?!? That was a lot on his shoulders against a really close friend and mentor to say the least.

  15. It depends if the league is configured or not. However standard leagues include those games and the opening week lasts 10 days instead of 7
  16. If I have to hear "Beasley" one more time, I'll scream. I'm trying to put some baby items together and am listening to the tv more than watching it. Every time I look down after a badger bucket, I hear "Beasley" this and "Beasley" that. Getting old
  17. Is Zach Jackson technically optioned yet? If not, he's the only other Lefty I can think of. Not that he'd leapfrog Parra at this point.
  18. Well certainly Logan, but they can deviate from the schedule to accomodate getting ready for realistic situations. If Dave Bush gives up 8 runs over 2 innings, does he stay out there for a 3rd and 4th, etc even after throwing 90 pitches? No, they deviate from the schedule to accomodate the situation. I'd like to see if Gagne head is screwed on straight in spring training with a save opportunity or two, rather than waiting until the 9th inning of opening day to lose two games in one inning to the Cubbies. I do understand the schedule, Logan, I do. Just there are some mental issues to work out with the closers and I'd rather not wait until it counts to see.
  19. Squeaky Wheel gets the grease :pats self on back:
  20. Today was a perfect opportunity for a save situation for Gagne and he got absolutely no work. This is seeming to be a bad signing already. I'm scared.
  21. Ok, seriously. How long is CBS going to be stuck on UNC-Mount St Mary. We all know Sienna is gonna beat Vandy, so just switch over already so I can watch an upset and not the #1 overall seed waltz through walk-throughs.
  22. I spoke too soon.
  23. Well, when it was 7-0, I thought this game was gonna be a blowout. Mount is hanging tough though 15-12 UNC
  24. Well there goes my perfect Sweet 16. Had Drake in there beating UCONN. Lucky shmucks
