  1. To be fair, we don't know how good "they thought they were"
  2. He was there early. I just wish there was a better low-risk play down there.
  3. Understood. This is actually the first game I've been able to "watch" all year. Still understanding the finer details of the rule changes.
  4. It was definitely a booth review. Ok, like I said. I wasn't sure. I didn't know booths could review PI. I thought it had to be a coach's challenge.
  5. I can’t keep track. There are too many. They didn't challenge on the TD, that was an automatic review. So they only have the one....I think. The challenged PI after the refs didn't overturn a far more obvious one on the Packers. I'm not so sure about that because it wasn't ruled a scoring play on the field. It was ruled a penalty on the field. The RESULT of replay was a touchdown.
  6. After how well I saw us try to score 4 times from the 1 yard line, I'll take my chances playing for OT. Yup. Just try and win a toss for once and drive down the field. I put more money on that than a single play from the 2.
  7. Calm down. Let the game play out.
  8. Terrible coaching/play calling. Gotta take points there. Win it on a different drive.
  9. Your bating average is taking a hit tonight. If .500 is a hit...okay. To be clear, I think the call on the field was missed, just stating that I think the standard on replay is so subjective that often "stands" is so obvious going to be result. You rarely see "overturned" or "confirmed".
  10. Clearly altered his hands. I expect this to get overturned.
  11. It wasn't, I'm sorry. He rubbed his chest a milisecond before the ball, thrown to the inside, arrived. Didn't really knock him off his route, didn't grab his arms, didn't turn him. It's just not going to get overturned on that weak sauce. I don't have a problem if it was called on the field PI, probably could have been, but there was zero chance that subjective judgement was going to get overturned with that video.
  12. Stop running the football between the tackles, just stop already.
  13. How? He was turned around, never once looked back at the ball and grabbed MVS before the ball got there. Without him directly tackling him how could it have been more obviously PI? Because it's just not egregious enough to be "clear and obvious" evidence that the call on the field was so incredibly wrong. The standard to overturn the call on the field is such a high bar that the 50/50 stuff is going to just stand 99.9% of the time. I honestly feel adding "pass interference" to the list of things that can be challenged was asinine. Knee jerk reaction to one stupid instance last year.
  14. Was so easy to see that call would "stand".
  15. It's September for crying out loud. Why can't he kick it out of the end zone like the other 31 kickers in the league? Was kinda hoping the younger guy in training camp would have gotten the job.
  16. Anybody know the probables for MKE/COL and CHC/STL this weekend?
  17. Chase Anderson runs given up methodology = predictable
  18. ^This. Is there an application process to ban the OP?
  19. I think September means something very different to you than it does to CC. Because I think “it’s September” played a huge role in CC making the move. My September comment was meant in terms of stamina and pitch count. It's September, as in, he can go 100 to 110, and not 85 like it's April.
  20. On a plane, so didn't see what Lions did. Won't get to Stafford in 4 seconds though. Just chucks it high up into the air and out of bounds and the clock is on :00 before the ball hits the ground.
  21. Jones just cant get to the 2nd level
  22. what a waste of a TO
  23. Yep, rusty as all get out. Coulda seen it coming a mile away, unfortunately. When did the tradition start to no play any starters in the last preseason game? Because it is stupid. I blame the roster rules. Seems like back in the late 90's and early 2000s, when they were cutting to 70 and 60 periodically (yes, i realize those aren't the exact numbers), there wasn't the obsession with getting reps to all of these street free agents in the preseason. When the preseason became more about trying to figure out who was the 50 through 53 men on the roster and less about preparation for games that mattered, the whole culture changed for the worse.
