    Stetter has been nothing less than impressive so far in his short time up this year. Great job to get out of that with 0 runs scoring.

    Just some advice. If you ever have an old couch you want to dispose of and can't fit out of the door, don't throw it off of your balcony unless you are sure nothing is underneath your balcony that can be squished--such as a portable grill.     It was kind of funny, Bob and Brian were talking to Drew Olson yesterday and mentioned how bad the production has been, lol. The most annoying thing has been missing entire pitches or watching a guy run out of the box and then seeing the ball rolling in the gap or something.

    Hamels is good, check. Hamels is left handed, check. Time for our offense to score some runs. Here's to Jenkins taking Bush deep and then Bush pitching a strong 7.

    As much ribbing as I've done of Gross this year I always liked him. I wish him well in the back in the AL.

    I do give Ned credit for at least pulling Gagne after 3 batters. Last year Ned most likely would have waited until the bases were loaded with no outs and then put Turnbow out there, lol.

    Gagne according to gameday was throwing 94-95 with his fastball on Thursday. He was throwing 91-90 today, and his velocity dropped between 1-2 MPH each on Friday and Saturday as well. He was tanked out. If ever there was a situation to use another guy today would be that day. And as far as Coco pitching in a bunch of straight games, he doesn't have the injury history Gagne does. I just hope this doesn't turn into a Matt Wise situation where we can't use Gagne until like Thursday because he pitched in 4 straight games.

    I just saw highlights of the Nationals-Marlins game. Wes Helms singled with runners on first and second in a tie game, L-Mill made a terrible throw to the plate which pulled Estrada to the first base side of the plate, and Estrada being the slow poke he is didn't get back to the plate in time to tag out Uggla. If Estrada had any sort of mobility that would have been a close play at home.

    Ned obviously has taken to Riske and Mota. When they both have 60 appearances in the beginning of August we might regret that a bit, although they're doing well now. Something to keep an eye on. I'd second the Bush man-love. I think the Gross man-love is an organizational man-love, so I don't so much blame Ned for that one.

    Sometimes it is nice to make a good steak for yourself. I am also partial to making some chicken stirfry, instant lunch for the next day!

    Lincoln threw a ball Bako thought was strike three, Bako was ready to toss it around the horn but the ump called it a ball. Bako just kept talking to the ump and eventually the ump tossed him.
