  1. Today's lineup: Hart - RF Hairston Jr. - 2B Braun - LF Fielder - 1B McGehee - 3B Betancourt - SS Gomez - CF Kottaras - C Wolf - P Hooray!
  2. I totally get that. I guess I've just turned into one of those super diehard people who stays until the end even under the worst situations and have put myself into full "all in" mode. I think I'm just frustrated and instead of ranting about the game, I decided to rant about that. lol
  3. I realize that's why they left. I considered doing the same, but didn't. There were a ton of no shows, though. It's still disappointing, but I didn't really expect much else. The Packers have been #1 priority this time of year basically for my whole life (I was too young in '82 to know/care). http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  4. The stadium was the emptiest I've ever seen it by the end of this game. I literally made it down from Terrace to the parking lots after the final out and didn't come across 6 other people in the stairs. Pitiful. I get that the game tonight was a stinker, but if that's the support a playoff contending team is going to get, I feel that to be pretty sad. It's unfortunate as a team we're not hitting right now. We're not going to get by on solo home runs. I get why RRR didn't use Weeks (didn't want him to press, try to run out a ground ball to stay out of an inning ending out, etc.), I just think he would have been a better option. Frustrating game. There aren't any cupcakes on the horizon, so it's big boy time.
  5. The Cardinals defense tonight reminds me of the fielders in MLB 11 The Show. No matter where you hit it, the defenders are everywhere making flashy grab after flashy grab.
  6. I wouldn't be surprised to see the Cardinals disrespect Craig by walking the bases loaded to face him instead of Fielder.
  7. Quickest ejection ever. That ump must have really thin skin. That said, it was a strike.
  8. Look very closely at the picture of Brandon Boggs. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif
  9. I thought there was a "no Wil Nieves" edict for this thread, hawing? :p I'll see your outfielder and raise you one from my own photo collection. http://a1.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc4/39703_813645491018_26701584_44365469_1069271_n.jpg

  11. Nice bounce-back start for Wolf. It was big for him to get out of that inning clean.
  12. It's bizzaro world, hawing. That said, let's go, Brewers. 1-0 for today. Straight business, pardners!
  13. I was thinking maybe #17 is Saito's interpreter, Kosuke Inaji.
  14. I think Sedar is all the way at the top left by the airplane door. I'm pretty sure Weeks is blocked by Casey McGehee's head. You can see a hand and part of a hat. Is that Zack next to Craig?
  15. They should give this photo away instead of the traditional team photo. My favorites are: Corey, Kotsay, Prince's belt buckle, Luc's clothing from his regular attire, Yo's sombrero, and Casey's pose.
  16. Kotsay is next to Cali, who is next to Corey, who are on the left of Craig (when looking at the phoito). Kotsay's pose is epic. I'm not sure who to laugh at more. Yo has the giant sombrero. Jon Luc is wearing clothes from his actual wardrobe. Casey also has an epic pose. Prince's belt buckle is so large it goes half way across his stomach. This is pure gold.
  17. On team picture day I really think they should give out this picture instead of the standard team picture. I found a high-res photo of the team in their cowboy gear via T-Plush, but figured it was too big to post, so I linked it. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  18. http://s3.amazonaws.com/radio-thescore/episodes/1072/photos/original_1292304079.jpg?1292304079 Cardinals, beat us, if you can. Survive, if we let you.
  19. I want to see Carlos Gomez in his full cowboy get up. Corey Hart was hilarious, vest and all. 1-0 for Sunday, gentlemen.
  20. Needs more epic Kottaras beard: http://cache.daylife.com/imageserve/03IMbhi2tu2jV/x350.jpg
  21. So what is 17 minus 1? http://www.chris-duffy.com/sitebuildercontent/sitebuilderpictures/brewers13mjsbrewers13sptsieu6.jpg 16. We'll always have the home opener in 2009, Chris.
  22. Thanks, Reds! http://www3.jsonline.com/packer/arc/image/929/hent929.jpg http://www.thewrightstache.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/04/610x-300x212.jpg
  23. My tiredness of Rafael Furcal continues. Sigh. Well, that long ball is slightly a salve. Nice, Casey.
  24. Does this Carpenter have a son? If so, how will he explain that wild pitch?
  25. Adam McCalvy posted an interesting article talking about how the Brewers have kicked around the idea of activating Weeks to pinch hit until he is fully cleared to play in the field since rosters are expanded anyway. My take is if Weeks can jog around the bases pain free (kind of how Braun did when he had the calf problem) I'd say activate him to be a PH. He's no worse than Wilson as a RH option, and no slower than McGehee running full speed. Plus, once he gets close defensively they could play him sparingly late in games when the outcome is pretty much determined (e.g.: Brewers up big, or Brewers down big) to get him back into the flow.
