  1. Reading northsidebaseball amuses me. I LOL'ed at the Rally Pickler last night. We need a designated rally girl (no, not Erin Andrews) http://static.yuku.com//domainskins/bypass/img/smileys/roll.gif.
  2. It is really nice to see the IGT again! Great job. http://static.yuku.com//domainskins/bypass/img/smileys/happy.gif
  3. Hall4President asked for it: Lineup via JS Online's Brewers Blog 2B Rickie Weeks SS J.J. Hardy 3B Ryan Braun 1B Prince Fielder RF Corey Hart LF Kevin Mench CF Bill Hall C Damian Miller LHP Manny Parra
  4. Sheets lifts the Brewers morale last night, now Woogie is back to lift the morale of bf.net? There is no way we lose tonight! http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif
  5. http://www.tristarproductions.com/merch/Football/images/MontJ-8x10A.jpg
  6. Wes Helms. Good potential, rocky defensively, had a good start with the team to give people hope then disappointed the masses with injuries and poor play.
  7. Well he does tend to disappear for weeks at a time, kind of like our offense and pitching prowess. ... I wish I could put that in blue. http://static.yuku.com//domainskins/bypass/img/smileys/ohwell.gif
  8. At least Next Friday is on TV to make me laugh after another 3 run lead turns into a loss. Gabe Gross making an out was the least depressed I felt all night after we lost the lead because at least he put up a good effort. Jeff Suppan is keeping Chris Capuano company in the "I haven't won in double digit starts" club, so Capuano doesn't feel so isolated.
  9. article about Vick's dogs, their potential future, and pet popularity This amused me in the article: I wonder who that was, lol.
  10. I've always been a closet Braves fan, so I guess I would continue ahead with that.
  11. Ditto. Another thing that annoys me about The Show is it doesn't tell you whether you were late, early, etc. when you foul a ball off. Sometimes that's nice to know, and you could check that via the contact replay on MVP.
  12. I always loved how Ben Hendrickson and Gary Glover would be 15 game winners with sub 2 ERA's in AAA. I would always steal Sean Burnett and John Van Benchoten from the Pirates, too.
  13. MVP 05 was always good to me. I finally got tired of updating the rosters and gave into The Show. Pitching was definitely easier in MVP, but that is some of the excitement of The Show for me that I can't cruise to no hitters, 1 and 2 hit shutouts with the likes of Wes Obermueller. One thing MVP will always have The Show never did is numerical ratings for people. I cannot tell you how much I hate the whole "bar" concept for rating people. "Oh well his bar is 3/4ths full." ugh. lol I believe you have to start a new season and can't update the rosters. That's half the reason I quit my season mode after one year (other than the fact people who hit 70 HR and batted over .400 declined in ratings), because I wanted to import the new rosters and have Ryan Braun but it wouldn't let me.
  14. I voted Uecker. From the most knowledgeable fan to a fan who doesn't know much about baseball at all, almost everyone has heard of Uecker and associates him with the Brewers. And you mean to tell me they didn't know Kevin Mench's nickname was Shrek, or Cordero's was CoCo, or Turnbow was D-Bow? What about the Hebrew Hammer? http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/laugh.gif
  15. Finding a generator for these sorts of things made me feel better. Not to pick on Cappy, but he has awesome expressions: http://diy.despair.com/output/poster73409401.jpg http://diy.despair.com/output/poster28647340.jpg
  16. With the Cubs-Cardinals rainout, we can't lose another .5 game today. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  17. Harang is groovin' those pitches right now.
  18. Get it done, Chris. I still believe in you. Don't fall under the SGA curse! http://img366.imageshack.us/img366/3421/cappys1mf0.jpg /lame attempt at Capuano mojo, http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/laugh.gif.
  19. A friend of mine got David Wright and Tom Glavine at their hotel when the Mets were here recently. Billy Wagner was signing stuff, too. Depending if you find the hotel you might have a shot. Late morning is the best time to do it, at least that is what my friend tells me.
  20. You can get cap penalties, but in owner mode there is a little cheat to clear them. I am hoping the cheat still exists in this year's game. http://static.yuku.com/v2//domainskins/bypass/img/smileys/devil.gif
  21. I'd been thinking about this, but I am not really sure who I'd root for. I'm all for putting as much distance on the Cardinals as we can right now as I fear them more than the Cubs, but I really don't want to root for the Cubs. In my mind it all comes down to us handling our business this weekend and if we do that we'll be better off than when the weekend started, but with Soup, Vargas, and Capuano going, that's a risky proposition.
  22. One time I was being stupid and I wanted to see whether I could get the first 10 picks in the draft. I actually was able to do it. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/laugh.gif Signing free agents and trading them for players/picks you want has been a staple of mine for years, I am glad I'm not the only oen who does/has done that lol
  23. I'd go with the home. The road hat does stand out more, but I am partial to dark colored hats. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  24. I actually ended up going to my local EB Games and got the game. I was talking to one of the guys who is always there and he said the PS3 version got smoked by the 360 version, and that even the PS2 version is a better game than the PS3, FWIW.
  25. As soon as I finish getting ready I am heading out to Best Buy to get a copy. I was already checking out the rosters to see who I am going to cut, LOL.
