  1. How much lemonade, beer and vodka....this sounds good, might want to bring it out for the game on Friday
  2. Tickets are taken, sorry guys...thanks for responding though! I'll keep a list just in case they become available for some reason
  3. Two people backed out my group at the last second so I have two extra tickets to the game on Friday. The tickets are Section 440 Row 15 seats 1 and 2 (isle seats).... I'm just looking to get rid of them to Brewers fans instead of a Cubs fan. I'll be at the game tailgating so I can get you the ticekts in the parking lot before the game - I'm just trying to get them off my hands so first person to PM me gets them, free of charge....you can buy me a beer or something before/during the game.
  4. I know it's really a long shot, but I would be interested in one of these too....they seem pretty cool
  5. Gamecast confuses me. I just clicked the "Hot Zone" to go along with the pitch location for Hardy's at bat. His entire strike zone is red or pink (.250-.400 average about) except low and away was white. With how Hardy has been hitting, I would think every single sport would be bright blue. Am I missing something here?
  6. Yeah, I noticed it especially on the Gallardo strikeout of Eric Hinske in the 2nd inning, on Gameday it looked WAY outside....Ueck even paused after the pitch and it didn't seem like he thought it was a strike. Oh well, seems to be helping Yo so far, Snell already has two walks!
  7. Yes it is that hat
  8. Just watching the game tonight, I loved their opposite field hitting in the 8th inning. I have no statistics to back this up, just observation, but it seems they have really been approaching their at bats as a whole to go opposite field and have been successful. I also recall probably their two biggest innings (tonights game as well as maybe the 4th (?) inning in the first game in Houston). Just good to see as this team has primaril been built around the long ball.
  9. Just went on to CBS Sportsline and saw this article on the front page of the MLB Baseball section. It's just nice to have some national media attnetion, not just Yankees, Red Sox, Cubs... Enjoy..... http://www.cbssports.com/mlb/story/11671935
  10. What is it with Brewer's media members - BA can't keep his mouth shut, now TH has a blog about, "you know what".... http://www.jsonline.com/blogs/sports/43561622.html
  11. Yeah, are you joking me Brian Anderson...maybe he thinks he ruined the jinks by saying it once, then if he says it once every 10 seconds it somehow reverses his unforgiveable sin
  12. This has got to be the first time we've been up by 5 runs this year....let's keep our pitching going, have a nice easy win
  13. A'ta Boy Prince!! Awesome at-bat.... I like getting hits with runners in scoring position!
  14. Yeah, I was thinking the exact same thing. They may even be worse than Cubs fans who go crazy on weakly hit fly balls to the shortstop...anything hit in the air, they think has a chance
  15. Hope it's nothing serious and I hate to see guys get hurt...but the way Hamels was pitching today, I'm glad he's out of the game
  16. Very big for Bush.....he gets out of the first inning NO RUNS!
  17. Come on Bush, follow Looper and throw some strikes today... Our offense started looking a little better yesterday so let's get it going good and get a series win...then we start with some easier competition finally!!!
  18. I say we boycott the Brewer's IGT tonight and put the Brewers in "timeout," in hopes that they begin to try and turn it around tonight. I know it's early in the season....but this can be BF.net's way of dying their hair black...
  19. I have a brand new (still in packaging/with tags) official 2008 NL Wild Card shirt and hat. The shirt is a size medium, they run pretty big. I'm asking for a little money as they were pretty expensive when I bought them brand new. Wild Card Shirt - $25 Wild Card Hat - $20 Or best offer....first to PM me with best offer, gets them....Thanks!
  20. I'm sure he isn't telling the pitchers to walk scrubs and opposing pitchers Yeah, but at the same time....where have all of these walks come from? There are some of the same Brewers pitchers from last year that are walking batters, and even worse with the bases loaded... it's very frustrating. I'm not going to peg this on Bill Castro just yet, but these are big league pitchers, and have been big league pitchers in the past, yet they have never walked batters like this in such bad situations. It's just very frustrating.
  21. I have 9 tickets to the Brewers vs. Cubs game on Friday, May 8th. A couple people dropped out that I thought would be going. The tickets are two in Section 440 Row 13 Seats 3-4 (2 total) Section 440 Row 14 Seats 1-5 (5 total) Section 440 Row 15 Seats 1-2 (2 seats) The tickets would be $22.00 each. If you're interested you can message me or send me an e-mail at . I'm not trying to make a profit on these tickets, I just need to get rid of them and would MUCH rather they went to Brewers fans instead of Cubs fans. Let me know if you're interested, first come first serve basis!
  22. I obviously know that it didn't make them forget to throw strikes. I'm just wondering if it's his preparation or what? I just don't understand all of the walks thus far. I knew the pitching would be the Brewers weakness but I didn't see them going like this....walking so many batters. I am in no way placing blame on Bill Castro, I wouldn't want to inherit the pitching staff of a team that just made the playoffs and then loses their top 2 pitchers, I just don't understand these location woes and am searching for an answer...
  23. I know coaches take too many undeserving hits when their players aren't performing. I am almost always against this blame on coaches, but right now I have to question the coaching methods of Bill Castro right now. Yes I know he doesn't have the likes of CC Sabathia and Ben Sheets...but the lack of command on almost all of the pitchers is amazing me right now. There are some of the same pitchers from last year (Seth McClung, Jeff Suppan, Carlos Villanueva, etc.) who never threw this many balls, let alone with the bases loaded. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt right now because the season is early, but this is a trend I would really like to see change as the season progresses.
  24. I think it's too early to be too worried about anything. We have the same record as the Boston Red Sox, there is a lot of baseball to be played. -Our offense has been hitting very well even withouth the best hitter (Braun) not producing much of anything. -We have yet to face a "mediocre" pitcher (some may argue Randy Johnson is mediocre but we beat him), yet we have been in every game. -Our pitching, as expected, has been our weakness. But I think we've seen some good things from Looper, Bush, Coffey, Gallardo (minus one inning tonight) that we can build upon. I think our bullpen problems will begin to work themselves out once Hoffman comes off the DL. Everyone will be back in their true bullpen positions and it will have a trickle down effect. My point is, the season is still young. There are some alarming things, but I think they will work themselves out and this team will be competing by the end of the year... at least I hope so.
