  1. Don't tell that to the Rockies. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/laugh.gif
  2. this is true. great day to be a fan. TCB. I don't think anyone would create a "Games that didn't get away" thread or something similar. It would be very easy to say - hypothetically - that people would look back, after - again, hypothetically - missing the playoffs, at this series had we split it and assigned a disproportionate amount of blame. I'm proud of the boys for stepping on the throats of the weakling, not playing down to their competition (errors notwithstanding) and keeping the eye of the tiger! Let's not forget that in four games our starters gave us 2 ERs in 31.1 innings. And only on reliever game up an ER.
  3. But you'd think Counsell went 0 for 20, made 7 errors and took a machete to the Polish Sausage!Don't forget how he has compromising pictures of Yost and is hiding his coffee. I can't get enough of those jokes!
  4. Once again, if you read this IGT without knowing the score, you would have no idea the Brewers were well on their way to a four-game series sweep.
  5. Whoo-hoo pirates win. Mets bullpem= FAIL
  6. Jerry Manuel just got tossed for arguing a called strike 2(!) on Beltran.
  7. Ha ha, and the pIrates take the lead. This is great. Hopefully the P{irates can finish the Mets off in the bottom half.
  8. Pirates have two on with one out down 5-4. Let's see if the Met's bullpen can blow another lead ... Before, I could click post Heilman answered: Yes. 5-5, one out with runners at the corners
  9. 2 RBIs. Can we just reserve two pages of tomorrow's IGT for "Why is Counsell starting?" whining? I know he's not a good hitter. But again, this team is on its way to winning six in a row and eight of its last 10.
  10. Guzman is a switch hitter, he's hitting about .50 points lighter from the right side this year.
  11. There we go. Way to redeem yourself JJ.
  12. Powell said hardy just dropped it.
  13. Ooooooooo, can't blame weeks on that one. Ouch.
  14. It's amazing how much better the team seems to be when you get a bunch of guys playing to or near their potential. Speaking of which, does Prince still have that hitting streak going? He went 0-for yesterday.
  15. Guys with questionable speed have stopped running on him. I've noticed his lack of outs lately, but its not like everyone is running wild on him.
  16. Wow, I'd take Milledge over Kapler in heartbeat. He's a jag, but still. I'm pretty sure I'd find room or Zimmerman, too.
  17. Run on not a HR. Let's keep it going. We're going to need those the rest of the week.
  18. Sadly we only got one top draft pick in that Zimmerman draft. You may remember him as Ryan Braun. Calm down everybody, five-game winning streak, three-game wild card lead. CC *%++# Sabathia. This team is good.
  19. Uh, oh. Here comes the patented Bush melt down.
  20. There's two more runs. Nice job Corey.
  21. He did have 8 Ks against the Rangers in 6 IP earlier this season.
  22. Just read that the Dbacks got Adam Dunn from the Reds. http://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2008/08/dunn-traded-to.html
  23. And then hits a leadoff HR. Good Rickie, please stay for a long, long time.
  24. Big game for the subs. Nice job Mike, Gabe and Carlos. All's good in the keg once again. Let's sweep 'em tomorrow!
