  1. I can't take it anymore. I really can't.
  2. Bases juiced. Let's make some hay J.J.
  3. Let's get the job done here. Feeling much better about Weeks of late.
  4. Ugh, seems like the other team is getting lots of great defensive plays just when the Crew could break it open.
  5. Yeah, I'm good with the tie. Let's have the big hitters take it to Estes the second time around
  6. I'm loving it. More hits please!
  7. Not a great start. Hold 'em to one Jeff.
  8. Gamel's bat plays? Look at his line from the second half of the year. I hope this guy is as great as he's look at times, but it's not worth the risk right now. There's no reason to believe he's going to get in the game and start hitting better than Bill Hall to make up for their difference in defensive ability.
  9. Again why? Their choking track record is much worse than the Brewers.
  10. I'm sorry. What exactly have the Brewers ever done to earn the benefit of the doubt the same way the Red Sox have?I'm assuming your a fan of the team. Thus I assume being a fan you would actually want to be encouraged. Bad spurts can happen to any team. The Brewers, as the youngest team in the league, chocked one season. The Red Sox did it for 100 years then came back from 0-3 in the ALCS to win the World Series. Given that franchise's chokes who would have seen that coming? Why can't the Brewers do the same. This is the one thing I don't miss about living in Milwaukee. Everybody seems to fight for the right to be the first to declare that the sky is falling, whether it be about the Brewers, the Packers, the economy, the city, whatever.
  11. Last year, with two weeks left in the season and a slim lead for the AL East, the Red Sox dropped two of three at home to the Yankees and then got swept on the road by Toronto. They went on to win the World Series. Every team has rough patches. Come off the ledge everybody, if the sweep happens, it proves nothing. Let's not forget the Mets missed CC (they won't in the playoffs) and only got five innings of Ben Sheets. That could completely change the series. This isn't a bad team. It's a very good team, that can be damn scary if they get it all together. I would rather seem them play like this now than play like it in four weeks.
  12. Two batters, no outs. It's not over yet! Come off the ledge guys.
  13. Arizona 5-2 Cubs 4-6 Dodgers 2-4 Mets 2-3 Philly 1-1 St. Louis 10-5 24-20 14-15 against teams that don't play in Busch Stadium I'd love to see that record be better, but aside from that four-game FAIL against the Cubs earlier this year, I haven't seen any evidence that the Crew would be overmatched against any of these teams in the playoffs.
  14. Well this lineup will certainly be interesting. Hopefully the day off gets Fielder and Cameron back on track.
  15. Dude, are you freaking kidding me? Everyone on here needs to get a grip. We've got a huge lead in the WC, we're coming off a huge sweep of the Pirates. Bullpens give up leads occasionally. It happens. And frankly, it hasn't happened all that often in the second half to the Brewers. Chill
  16. Assuming Stetter proves he can;t be depended on, I think they make Parra the second lefty out of the pen during the playoffs.
  17. Can we give this junk a rest until he misses one than a start? The Brewers are not even in a position to trade for CC without Sheets performance this year. The guy deserves a break until we at least find out how bad the injury is.
  18. Wow, anyone with any idea what happened?
  19. Choke time in playoffs Team reminds of '01 Ms Bow to Crew they will
  20. I am surprised no Nedshot in last line. Haiku night must have Zen effect.
  21. Cubs just got the tie Bases loaded walk. Jesus. Luck will run out ... right?
  22. Apparently I did a bad job crafting that last sentence. I realize that Durham has been quite good in his career, but he's on the downside now, I think we could all agree on that. And I wasn't trying to imply that Counsell is a better option than Branyan - even defenisvely. He's not. What I was trying to say is that it's not like we're getting an MVP calibar player with Branyan in the lineup. Sometimes I think the Russell man love goes a little overboard here.
