    It's not over. Let's go!

    Geez, a Bunt?

I would suggest that the Brewfan.net nation stay away from ESPN tonight because it's going to be a Cub love fest, Brewer hate fest. God, this sucks. Lilly looks like he's going to throw a shutout at this point.

Boy, I think the Crew needs to split these two games. I HOPE we win 3 and pray for the (expletive deleted).

More like I never saw us catching the Cubs a few weeks ago, or at least catching them this quickly.

I can't believe I'm typing this: A chance to tie for first place in the division is on the line tonight! Let's go! Oh man, I can barely contain my excitement!
  7. sargennm
Yeah, I sense a something freaky happening in the bottom of the 9th and the Cubs pulling it out.

I cannot believe how much time and space is spent on this board complaining about the announcers. This team is on a great roll and you guys are talking about announcers. Announcers! Not a game. Not a game. We're talking about announcers! Not a game. Not a game we live and die for and watch every game like its our last. Not the game. We talking about announcers, man. How silly is that? We're talking about announcers.

Here http://www.stltoday.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=554172 I've really enjoyed when Cards fans/media complained about Hall/Braun considering how often they throw at players. Last time I checked, watching an HR for 5 second never injured anyone. Well, except maybe TLR's ego. And then there's this. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif http://www.stltoday.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=554203

Give it a break dude, seven game road winning streak. Yost was at the helm for those games too.

Bad control of small strike zone this inning?

Let's not get too high. I'd love to see the Brewers win tonight. But we have taken six straight on the road and three of four so far from StL. This is still a very good team they're playing tonight.

Sutcliffe did it, didn't he? Yes, and Eric Karabell from ESPN Fantasy was on Homer's show this afternoon and unprompted said he thought CC would win the NL Cy Young. Think about the other contenders in the league right now. He's got a long way to go but it's not unthinkable.

Words can;t even begin to describe how much I love this CC guy. GREAT GAME! Wow, could we have asked for more three games into this series. And Sheeter tomorrow.

I'd feel a lot better if it wasn't the heart of the order. Dbacks just took a 2-1 lead on a Clark HR, BTW.
  16. sargennm
OK, now I gotta wonder a little. But, you know, the Brewers are bush for untucking their shirts.
  17. sargennm
Solid D, behind CC tonight. Gotta love that.
  18. sargennm
Nice DP. Man Molina must be real slow.
  19. sargennm
Here is the link. One of the posters refers to the Brewers black players as "brothers" and another calls the untucking thing "gay." I'm glad I never see that kind stuff here. Edit: Link now attached http://www.stltoday.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=553449&postdays=0&postorder=asc&&start=0

I think it's pretty cool, and innocuous. I posted a link to the StL newspaper site that had a forum complaining about the shirt untucking and Billy after the HRs. I didn't get either point. I'm watching on TV here in St. Louis and the Cards annoucers went on about two innings how many of the fans here expressed their distate for "Bill Hall's antics." They said they talked to a bunch of players and none of them thought it was a big deal ( the annoucers either).

I love CC. Way to get out of it.

A little worried the Brewers might get baited into a bean brawl tonight. Hall really ticked off some Cards fans down here. Some talk he stared and spit toward the Cards dugout both nights. I hope the Brewers learned their lesson from last year. EDIT: I saw both homers and don't see what the big deal is. Of course, I didn't get the Astros-Braun stuff last year either. http://www.stltoday.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=553449&postdays=0&postorder=asc&&start=0

Poor Orlando Hudson, had to be carried off the field after getting hit on the foot. Couldn't put any weight on it. Wow, that would be a huge blow for that team just when it looked like they were picking their season up off the floor.

Bill Hall thank you for coming to my town and being awesome. Work is going to be a lot of fun tomorrow. Over/under on me asking "So, did you see the game last night?" is at about 100.
