    I don't believe we have an All-Star thread yet, so I figured why not give one a start. What got me thinking about it was comparing stats for a few players for Fantasy Baseball, when I came across the amazing seasons Chase Utley and Dan Uggla are having. It's quite phenomenal. (I can't get a link to work...)

    During "Flex Cam" at the game today they flipped the camera on Russ. He didn't see it, and lucky for the folks at Miller Park he didn't. I was waiting for the Scoreboard to explode if he would have noticed what was going on.

    I like watching Torres, I feel like he genuinely likes being here, part of the Brewers. It seems like honest excitement and emotion every time he goes out there.

    It looked like he was limping, that would not be good news.

    Man do I still really dislike him. I just don't even enjoy seeing him out there anymore, hits or no hits.

    Unfortunately that's where the DS had to happen. Cameron is on the shelf, and Ned doesn't like going to the catcher.

    To further on a silver lining, at least Lou is still trying to make Marmol's arm fall off sometime by August. No clue why he's out there right now.

    We use "Granite Gear" whenever we camp/hike. Use it up in the Boundary Waters, and it holds up really well, and is much lighter than all the canvas bags. I give it a big time recommendation.

    What, did you learn a new phrase this week, and you're tyring to let everyone know? Can we please stop this. Does the fact that he said "all" Yost haters would respond really make that big of a deal. I think we're all (oops another absolutism) smart enough to figure out the greater point he was trying to make. So... my vent this week is towards the forum posting police. Especially those that seemingly choose to only police one side of an argument. Mark me down for one of these too. To me it seems to be blatant condescension, which happens all the time, and nobody ever says anything.

    I would think that's a pretty good statistic to point out. Furthermore, even with today's unfortunate events, I think he made the right moves with the bullpen today. Simply a game where a few guys didn't produce down the stretch.

    Sitting down by the dugout today, I asked Russel to "flex for a picture" when he was coming up to bat after he had hit his homerun, and he just shook his head and laughed pretty hard. He knows we exist, he knows he is 3TO.

    Definitely not the case. Trenni was on the radio yesterday morning with Doug and Wickett, and she said he is definitely not a leader or go to guy any more. His mood is much more somber than what it was (with good reason mind you). People really need to stop booing Bill everytime he goes up to hit. I'm not a fan of booing your team really, but I dont' feel bad when it happens to Hall. If you don't want to be here, good riddance. I'm sure there's plenty of guys who could do what he's doing this year with out all the drama Hall has brought into it. If you are going to come out and ask for a trade, then all is fair.

    What three arms were available? I would think one could make the argument that Tavarez was the better choice than DiFilece, who simply put, doesn't belong on the roster. Mota I thought was unavailable for Saturday?

    This is where I have an issue with the other side of the "Topic of Ned." Why is it so difficult to put him in that sentence as well as the others mentioned? Obviously he has helped with McClung's development to this point.

    I think that is a bit of an exaggeration. I do enjoy the human element, and would continue to enjoy it regardless of its impact on the Brewers.

    Bellagio lobby and resturants are pretty neat and worth checking out. I'd also spend a day or at least a little bit of time "downtown" over near Fremont St. The old casinos are pretty cool to see, and you will probably be able to catch some $3 table games, which you won't find on the strip anywhere. New York, New York is worth going into as well.

    I still put my money down the stretch with the guy who has a history of high inning totals over his career. Not the young arm who I would think has the greater risk of "burning out."

    I know that, I wasn't saying it's fixed, I just thought it was kind of ironic it was a topic of conversation recently and here they fielded four today. Sorry if I implied that would work every day. I should have removed the word seemingly.

    This is what I'm saying, I love how baseball hasn't fell into the use of replay. And I understand "progress" but simply because it's available, doesn't mean it's the best option.

    I just don't want Hall to log any significant time on the field. I think it's becoming more obvious by the day he doesn't want to be here. Defense is horrible as of late, and doesn't seem to have a clue at the plate. Also, I thought it was funny today how a team seemingly short on left handed bats, started an entire infield of southpaws. edited for second line.

    Yea, he should have. Regardless, the option is still Difilice, who still got hit hard when he came in. I still maintain it's not ANY managers fault when he looks in the bullpen to see those two guys as his options for the 12th. Those are the guys DM gave him to work with, and as we all know, you can't pretend your Pinto is a Jag.
