BA says he thinks the game is in reach, and I guess it is, but I just feel like the Crew will tease all night but never come through in situations like that. Hope I'm wrong, but they just don't feel very clutch right now to me.

There is no question in my mind that there is a strong mental component to the Twins ownership of the Brewers.

I think it's just NL pitching vs. AL hitting these past few weeks. The only saving grace has been the Cleveland bullpen. Even teh red-hot Rockies didn't hit the Brewers hard.

No matter what the numbers, it's still really impressive the only metro areas outdrawing the Crew on a per game basis are NY, LA, Boston, Chicago (Cubs only), Philly and St Louis. -
There is virtually no realistic trade that will get you anything close to equal value for Prince this season, and maybe not one for Hardy either. I personally think JJ is one of the two guys that you want to build around, even with his struggles this season. I wouldn't put him in an untouchable category, but he's closer than anyone on the team other than Braun. Everyone is hurting for pitching. I'd tend to hold tight and see what hapens this season. They'll need some luck and better performances, but they still ahve a shot at the division even as presently constructed.

"Nellis has said he's the voice of the fan. He's not there to say smart things. That's Homer's job." This is pair of sentences that should strike fear into the heart of a radio producer. -
This team just makes me sad. I'm thankful they are in the NL. Yes, it's Verlander today, but the Cleveland vacation made people forget just how bad this offense has been since about the time Weeks went down. (Draw your own conclusions as to any relationship there).
