    I don't understand this. I get we're in a long stretch of games with no off day but making him throw 100ish high stress pitches when his velocity is already way down is so ******* stupid and Murphy is just sitting there like a giant oaf letting it happen.

    At the rate Harrison is giving up homers we will be able to watch Gary pitch for 4 innings.

    Remember when Yelich was moved down in the order for like 3 games? I get there aren't many better options but still funny.

    Seriously thinking we should just shut him down. He doesn't have the arsenal of other pitches to get guys out sitting 91-93.

    He;s not throwing nearly as hard as he was earlier. He'll still occasionally touch 96 but he was 94-96 earlier and now he's typically 92-94 and it's just not working.

    It's incredible how literally every single player we have has no idea what a leverage challenge is and when it makes no sense to challenge pitches.

    Really need to take him out here. Given up a homer and single, got lucky on a double play with a pitch that was right down the middle and now a walk.

    I don't generally like Smoltz but I am glad that he's calling out stupid challenges (for both teams.)

    Having to go like 9 pitches on the first batter of the game after getting ahead 0-2 was not great.

    So let's say instead of pulling back on the bunt attempt, he bunts it foul down the line or even worse pops it up and makes an out without advancing the runners. Is he benched for that?

    Just seems so unnecessary to pull Gasser here. Worst case scenario after this batter it's still 8-3.
