  1. They really need at least one starter..at this point I'm on board with Robbie Ray, Zach Wheeler or Mike Minor(or two of 3). As long as you have reasonable expectations.
  2. OT but Michael Blazek is back in the bigs. I didn't even know he still played baseball. Of course he's with the dumpster fire that is the Nats bullpen.
  3. People actually watch the NFL Network? I sometimes watch the highlight show during the season but it's trash other than that and I really don't even care that U-Verse got in a carriage dispute with them and took them off the air now that the NFL shows full game highlights on their youtube channel.
  4. You'd be selling one major contributor and getting two in return and two elite prospects on top of that. Not that the Padres would ever trade those 4 for a reliever. Preller isn't dumb. Their record is only 5 games worse than ours and we were going for it this year while they weren't, so [sarcasm]good point.[/sarcasm]
  5. Two of our top 3 or 4 position players are free agents after the season.
  6. Seriously, have seen twitter chatter that people are trying to get clarification of that...this is the Mets we are talking about you know?? There is no need for clarification. If they were looking for a top 30 organizational prospect to start a freaking trade they would've said "We'll take whatever 3 crap prospects you offer. Here's our 30th best prospect and two others in the 31-50 range." Can guarantee that's not what they're asking for.
  7. Why would you box yourself in with only accepting one specific demand? Get the best return you can regardless of position and regardless of how far along they are.
  8. BuT wAnDeR fRaNcO iS jUsT a PrOsPeCt!1!1!
  9. Is that 3 homers by Suarez in the last 4 innings?
  10. If a player plays 10 games and hits a walk-off in one of those games but doesn't get a hit in the other 9 games was he better than "quite bad?" Moose was brutal in the playoffs last year. .200/.273/.250 with one unintentional walk in 44 plate appearances. To be fair pretty much everyone on the team was awful offensively in the playoffs, Moose, Cain, Yelich, Braun, Aguilar, Granderson. Moose was definitely the worst performer of anyone that played regularly though.
  11. There was when I was there on Tuesday. They were checking bags outside the stadium and if you didn't have a bag you were directed to a different line in the stadium to go right through the metal detectors.
  12. We do and his name is Robert Murray He's pretty bad too though. Seems more interested in trying to up his cred nationally by trying to break stories with Rosenthal.
  13. Two Brewers teams in the last decade have better regular season records than the '82 team and the '82 team had the advantage of only having to win one series to make it to the World Series. The logo, I've made my opinion quite clear on that. If that's part of what you're hanging your hat on, more power to you but it's kind of sad.
  14. Well, when you don't have a WS win to hang your hat on ... You still shouldn't be celebrating a team that lost the World Series by acting like they won 5.
