  1. We need 5 runs to tie it. We've scored 4 runs in our last 56 innings against the Cubs.
  2. Who would you have brought in? Good question. Brian Shouse? Keep Jeffress in?
  3. Games decided by 3 runs or less? What a weird statistic to try to make the games sound close.
  4. Did you catch it? He hit it about a mile. I was going to post something similar.
  5. I want Chatwood to pitch all 9 innings and Arcia to take every at bat, just to see what the results would be. We would be sorely disappointed I fear The sheer entertainment factor would be amazing. Arcia swings at two 56 foot pitches to start the at bat and the rest of the at bat is the Brewers dugout screaming at Arcia right before the pitch to take away his attention so he can't swing. Would truly be a magical game.
  6. I don't know if the Cubs have a "For the love of God, don't swing" sign but if there was ever a time to create that sign, that at bat by Baez was it. Go up there without a bat? Chili Davis running out to take the bat away would be good TV.

  9. Baez's Arcia like plate discipline saved Knebel from another 4 pitch walk.
  10. From the bench? Yep (I'm barely paying attention to this game.)
  11. Knebel throwing balls because he's afraid of a Villar error.
  12. It's obviously a bad drop by Villar but I don't think it was a mental lapse or anything. He was trying to get the tag down as quickly as he could because he didn't know how close Zobrist was to the base. If he knew how far away Zobrist was, he obviously would've taken more time to make sure he had the ball.
  13. Maybe he meant he resembles the character Thumper from Bambi.
  14. If you're playing this like it's later in the game because of the weather, why the hell would Dan Jennings be the guy you bring out of the bullpen?
  15. Pretty disingenuous to zoom in so it looks like there's nothing but rain. It might be a 2 hour delay at most and after that the next rain is just getting into Western Ohio.
  16. In baraboo? I enjoyed it as a kid. The most exciting thing about it for me was the two hour bus ride there. Would've rather spent the day at school.
  17. Not saying much Matt. I could make Arcia look bad.
  18. I don't even think us putting in Hader pushes us past other teams. He's a great reliever but if the Mets are trading Syndergaard and/or deGrom, it means they're rebuilding and that's just about the last piece they're looking for as the headliner for the return.
