  1. Makes sense. Sign an outfielder, trade a 2nd baseman. I think that's what everyone would do in that situation.
  2. Football Soccer Hockey NASCAR (driver vs pit) Lacrosse Water polo Umm, what?
  3. I don't feel strongly either way. I just want both leagues to have the same set of rules.
  4. I'll make a donation. My parents met each other when they worked at Hamilton.
  5. Except Dalembert, who is fat and awful.
  6. Brewers sign 25 year old Michael Olmsted and add him to the 40 man roster. He was drafted by the Mets, had Tommy John surgery and got released, went to Japan and then the Red Sox. 92 strikeouts in 59.1 innings last year. http://www.jsonline.com/blogs/sports/177121731.html

  8. The Angels are stupid if this deal goes through. You don't want Haren at $15.5 million, fine. That means you decline his option, not trade him for a $10 million reliever that walks almost a batter an inning.
  9. • The Brewers did not get into the running for pitcher Dan Haren, who was being shopped by the Angels this week. http://milwaukee.brewers.mlb.com/news/article.jsp?ymd=20121102&content_id=40155490&notebook_id=40155492&vkey=notebook_mil&c_id=mil
  10. I don't think the Royals think they can contend so they're paying $12 million for one year to bridge the gap for their young pitchers without giving up much of anything in terms of assets. I don't think it's that bad.
  11. Per McCalvy On the same day McGehee is outrighted off the Yankees 40 man roster and becomes a free agent.
  12. Please tell me this is blue font. I'm begging someone, just tell me this is blue font, even if you have to lie to me.
  13. Jar-Jar Binks on Space Mountain. Meesa so scared betcha, betcha.
  14. Starring Dumbo as Chewbacca and Pinocchio as C3PO.
  15. I really hope not. This franchise lives in the past enough.
  16. It's a horribly boring logo. I think in most cases blue and orange goes great together. For example I love the blue and orange the Broncos use. This just looks dated and ugly.
  17. NBC is picking up all the coverage. Like every game every week. Games will be shown on all platforms so if you're a fan of QPR or some low level team that may be relegated you can watch them. It won't be on NBC or NBCSN but it will be on probably Bravo or something.
  18. The Nationals offer it. Once they offer it and Jackson declines it you have to give up a pick. If they don't offer it, the Nats don't get a pick.
  19. *Insert obvious fat joke followed by the monstrosity in the outfield distracting her.*
  20. Peralta, Jungmann and Morris for Lincecum one year away from free agency, costing over $20 million and having an awful year? Hell no.
  21. You should have played along and said they traded him in January and then made up some random names of fake players.
  22. During the 9th I wondered what last year's manager would have done. Kudos to Mike Matheny for taking it. Go out and argue with the umpires about anything and everything until the rain made the field bad enough that the umps had no choice but to put the game in a rain delay.
  23. Why would he take a backup job when he could start on at least half the teams in the league? Also, the result of this series was delightful.
  24. That's hilariously bad for Arizona. I think it's funny the D'Backs traded Young to get the guy Stephen Drew replaced and who they ended up getting nothing for basically.
