I don't think it is because I knew he would be gone in a few years because I haven't warmed up to Braun either. I just hope Fielder doesn't end up in the NL. I don't want to see a competitor get better. Out of sheer curiosity, who have you warmed up to? Betancourt
  2. You saying this reminds of the 2006 Calder Cup Finals game 1. I had a seat in the last row of section 226 and sat next to a huge Pekka Rinne fan. Every time he made a save or appeared to make a save or a player blocked a shot that would have been an oppurtunity for him to make a save, she yelled out in the most shrieking, shrill, fingernails-on-a-chalkboard voice ever PEEEEEEEKKKKKKKAAAAAAAAAA. Her boyfriend was with her, I wanted to smack her with those thunderstick things they handed out.

  4. The Admirals continue their AHL record. With an overtime loss and a win in Abbotsford on Friday and Saturday they have now gone 20 road games without a regulation loss.
  5. They pitched like crap against Arizona too except for Gallardo.

I would have used me, but unfortunately I can't ignore myself. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/tongue.gif

  10. TracyThom wrote: I hope they don't resign Yuni mostly so I don't have to read Logan's posts trashing him nearly every single day. It made me stay away from the Major League forums for awhile this season. If you don't like it you can hit that fancy interact button and then ignore user's posts instead of complaining about other posters.
  11. TheCrew07 wrote: We'll be lucky to get any first round picks as compensation.... we need teams in the top half of the standings to our FAs (the rich getting richer). I'd take a 2nd and a supplemental pick for him. I'm not picky. And I'd absolutely offer him arbitration. I think the chances he accepts are less than 1%. He wants to close and he knows he's not doing that here.
  12. Team Canada wrote: That doesn't really make sense to me. Why would this have to be hush-hush? Exactly what I was going to say. There's no reason to keep this quiet unless it was just agreed upon since they don't want stuff leaking during the World Series. And Prince sure didn't sound like he was coming back.
  13. Any team that signs Rollins for 4-5 years is stupid.
  14. For those that found that funny, here's a joke that will make you laugh for days. ?
  15. Yeah, hard to argue with RoCo's post. It would be different if they did it after they scored or something but it's pretty lame to do it after you hit a 120 foot bloop single down by 5 runs in the 8th inning.
  16. Hate those Rodents wrote: We should have had at least two "aces" for this series and we clearly Our starting pitching in the series wasn't even #5 starter caliber as a whole.
  17. Roenicke's trolling us.
  18. Please fire this idiot.
  19. Put her on the pregame show ahead of Davey. I think we can all get on board with that.
  20. I know the Admirals are trying to get Predators games on in Milwaukee instead of Wild games. That would be great because the Wild are terrible to watch. Fletcher is just an awful GM.
  21. sargennm wrote: Since 2004 pitchers in the playoffs on three days rest: Teams have a W-L record of 9-14 (with the pitchers going 6-6). SPs have an ERA of 4.86 with a slash line of .263/.372/.419 http://blogs.delawareonli...est-wont-help-carpenter/ I'd take that. That ERA is over 6.5 runs better than the ERAs of our non Gallardo starters in the playoffs.
  22. lexi881 wrote: Interesting side note that Doug Melvin called Mat personally apologizing profusely for that article and said it should have never been released. Money was also supposed to apologize, but did not. I'm happy about that. At most that should be said in private in the manager's office to a player if it should be said at all.
  23. theavrock wrote: Why the heck is Gomez putting his hand down on the back of the bag? The announcers once again don't know what they're talking about. Gomez's hand was about 6 inches short of the front of the base when Hill touched 1st.
  24. Roenicke being thoroughly out managed by Gibson tonight. He realizes Saunders sucks, takes him out and gets two runs.
