  1. Wouldn't that be all the more reason to rebuild? Do it when the fan base is small and apathetic.
  2. Do you think Blake Griffin is a small forward? Because their measurements are almost exactly the same. Height: Griffin - 6'10'' Williams - 6'8.75'' Weight: Griffin - 248 Williams - 248 Wingspan: Griffin - 6'11.25'' Williams - 7'1.5'' Reach: Griffin - 8'9'' Williams - 9' No Step Vert: Griffin - 32'' Williams - 29'' Max Vert: Griffin - 35.5'' Williams - 34.5'' Bench: Griffin - 22 Williams - 19 Agility: Griffin - 10.95 Williams - 11.03 Sprint: Griffin - 3.28 Williams 3.23 And compare their college stats: Griffin - 18.8 points, 11.8 rebounds, 2.1 assists, .631 TS% Williams - 17.7 points, 7.7 rebounds, .9 assists, .674 TS% So Griffin is a better passer and rebounder and they're pretty much the same scorers though Williams was more efficient. I'm not saying Williams is going to be as good as Griffin but he's incredibly underrated.
  3. Jennings/Salmons/Delfino/Williams/Sanders would be awful. They probably win about 25 games tops, which is fine as long as they don't make moves to try to improve from the 25 wins they would win. And Kohl will never move the Bucks. The only way he sells is if it's to someone who is guaranteed to keep the team here.
  4. Minnesota doesn't have a 2012 1st, it's going to the Clippers.
  5. Talent and depth in the draft? You mean like 2012? We trade Bogut this year and we get pushed up about 7-9 spots in the draft next year. That has to be factored in to the return of the deal as well.
  6. The problem with left handed infielders that aren't first basemen is this. Third baseman almost have to play right on the line. If they have to range towards third base they have to make a spin and then throw instead of just planting and throwing like a right handed player would. Same thing with a shortstop. They have to play way over towards third base. A second baseman would have to play towards second base as well.
  7. Wil Nieves was batting ahead of Gamel, Wheeler, Gindl and Farris. *Sigh*
  8. BOGUT IS NOT A STAR. I'm sorry but it needs to keep being said. If Bogut was a star he would lead the supporting cast he has to at least 45 wins every single year. They've been over 45 wins once. That's not a star, that's not somebody you build around or worry about trading and it coming back to bite you later. He's a complimentary third piece on a championship team. He's good enough to keep the Bucks out of the high lottery which is where they need to be to get an actual star. They can worry about finding Bogut type players once they get a player that's actually worth building around.
  9. I'm left handed and bat right handed and that's the reason I always give people. I tried switch hitting but never really felt like I had good control of the bat with my right hand being on the bottom of the bat so I just went to right handed hitting full time.
  10. We're screwed if Wakefield gets 5 inches above the strike zone like he did against Hart.
  11. 1. Sutton grounded out to Betancourt. 2. Prince isn't left handed. Unless she's just talking about him batting left handed.
  12. Leave it to Betancourt to do that after three great at bats.
  13. Kottaras >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Nieves
  14. Bogut just isn't worth building around. The Durants the Roses the Pauls the Wades the LeBrons. Those are players worth building around, Bogut is a solid contributor, a third wheel on a championship team not a go to option.
  15. The Thunder would still be good without Durant, they wouldn't be great but they would be good and better than the Bucks are. As far as a player like Durant coming once every 5 years. 2009 - Blake Griffin 2008 - Derrick Rose, Russell Westbrook, Kevin Love 2007 - Kevin Durant obviously 2006 - LaMarcus Aldridge and Brandon Roy 2005 - Chris Paul and Deron Williams 2004 - Dwight Howard 2003 - LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, Chris Bosh, Carmelo Anthony 2002 - Yao Ming 2001 - Pau Gasol The 2000 draft was awful but there are great players in almost every single draft. You just have to have good scouting and draft high enough to get that player.
  16. Me too! *E-High Five* The Rattlers lost so of course Quad Cities wins.
  17. Yes, only one of the best up and coming teams in the NBA built their team from scratch. I certainly don't want the Bucks to do that.
  18. <------------ Sees why the Reds let go of Herrera.
  19. You guys do realize trading Bogut likely means a rebuild which likely means high lotto picks for at least two years, right? It's not like this deal would be "Oh, let's trade Bogut and #10 for #2 and then go out and sign Samuel Dalembert to take Bogut's place and try to make the playoffs."
  20. Dillard warming up in time so he can face Ellsbury, Gonzalez, Ortiz and Crawford. Nice.
  21. He does. It's like they pulled him straight out of (insert far northern county here.)
