  1. "Maybe there was a little hangover from the St. Louis series." - Bill Maybe it was just a lineup that was filled with awful hitters.
  2. I'm sure this at bat will go well. /too lazy for blue font
  3. Three strikeouts for Kotsay. Well played, Ron. Well played.
  4. We've had 12 pitches pitch out of the bullpen this year. Loe and Axford have accounted for a third of the innings pitched out of the bullpen.
  5. Why? He was safe. Maybe somebody should get in Roenicke's face for constantly using Loe.
  6. Good thing Braddock is just warming up now.
  7. Someone needs to tell Roenicke that there are more pitchers in the bullpen than Loe and Axford.
  8. Take pitches, morons. Swinging at complete junk.
  9. They don't call him Lolongo for nothing.
  10. Good thing we got Kotsay in there. His numbers are looking great against Dempster tonight.

  12. Agree with X. Didn't Weeks have a hamate injury? It took him a long time to get back. There's just nothing that suggests McGehee is going to turn it around. His LD% is 13.8 (that's worse than Wil Nieves) he hits a ton of ground balls sapping power and it's not like he has the speed to beat out any ball that's fielded. Even a platoon would work. Green has a 1.044 OPS vs righties and .650 vs lefties. But there are four players on the team right now that are hurting more than helping. Betancourt (-0.5 WAR), McGehee (-0.4 WAR), Nieves (-0.3 WAR) and Kotsay (-0.2 WAR). We can literally fix every single one of these problems yet continue to do nothing about them.
  13. Haha, love Jason Segel. While we're on the fantasy topic it's my first time playing fantasy baseball this year. Currently in 7th place out of 16 teams with a 77-60-7 record and went up this week against a guy with a record of 101-34-9, best in the league. Beat him 10-6.
  14. They were good, yes however how is it not a fluke? The East was incredibly weak that year and they didn't come close to matching that season in any other season. That is the definition of a fluke.
  15. I don't know how it wasn't a fluke season. They were winning low 40s, then won 50+ and made it to the ECF and then fell back to low 40s wins and missed the playoffs. That's pretty much the definition of fluke.
