  1. You can get two different styles of basketball to watch. Badgers is slow it down and grind it out, Marquette is up tempo and get on the fastbreak.
  2. They're still going through two time zones to get there.
  3. Well people are still complaining about the Miller Park tax and it got a state senator recalled when he changed his vote to pass the tax. I'd imagine politicians will be wary about how to vote for any public funding for a new stadium based on the fact that we're still paying for the Miller Park tax, a lot of people aren't happy about it and the Bucks sucking doesn't help that.
  4. You like leaving the better player down in the minors?
  5. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/laugh.gif I've talked to a couple of Boston fans and they've said they wish hockey was like football and they could just decline the penalty. Can't blame them, they suck on the power play and are the best 5 on 5 team in the league.
  6. Why does it matter who signs from this draft? There's nothing we can do about signing the players and some are curious about next year. Seriously, relax. It was a harmless question that I'm sure colby or someone else would be happy to answer.
  7. Boston hasn't cashed in on a power play since 2004 it seems like.
  8. What would Toronto be like if they were in the Stanley Cup? http://desmond.yfrog.com/Himg615/scaled.php?tn=0&server=615&filename=cx2so.jpg&xsize=640&ysize=640

  11. Vancouver looks like a great city. Edit: The way I read it is they didn't mind the expansion fee they just couldn't justify paying the expansion fee plus charge the ticket prices they needed to for the crappy players they would've gotten in the expansion draft. That's perfectly reasonable because the two franchises that Milwaukee was in the running for were Ottawa and Tampa Bay. The Lightning missed the playoffs in 8 of their first 9 seasons and had a record of 246-440-88 in those seasons. Ottawa was a little different. They missed the playoffs their first four seasons but then made the playoffs the next 11 seasons. However their record in their first four seasons was 51-224-23.
  12. Milwaukee is seriously underrated as a hockey market. The Admirals are always in the top third of AHL attendance and they used to draw over 9,000 when they were in the IHL. Madison is a solid hockey market as well within reasonable driving distance as well. The problem is Milwaukee is over saturated in sports.
  13. It's not classy to argue with the umpire, especially when the umpire got the call right.
  14. Pitch one, right down the middle just above the knees is a ball. Pitch two is way off the outside corner and is a strike.
  15. Nice one Brian. "Hart a little tapper, this is gonna get a run home." *Fielder out by 5 feet*
