Tomorrow is when "we woke up the sleeping giant" then. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif Braun made up for that error. Struck out on four pitches and swung at two that were balls.

Not just a PG logjam. It's a roster logjam. We're already at 16 players and if we keep Sessions it's 17 which would mean we would need to get rid of at least two players.

These are some very interesting plays. It's like they're intentionally messing up to keep the fans entertained.
  4. trwi7
Those are the kinds of plays that should be errors that aren't which is why it was ridiculous how Bill and Brian always praised Braun for not making an error for over a year in left field.

Man, the Wisconsin offense is just abysmal. Look at the OPS of the starting position players in today's game. Prince - .630 Brownstein - .602 Kjeldgaard - .789 Dhanani - .529 Alfonso - .429 Vass - .677 Delaney - .656 Miller - .625 McPhearson - .417 I know the Midwest League is a pitcher's league, but that's just ridiculous.

    Haha. This team is special.

Watching Vargas pitch with runners on base = not enjoyable.

I don't know why that Felix Hernandez part is in there. Masterson and Hagadone were already traded and I don't think they're going to completely destroy their young pitching talent for Fielder, so they won't give up Buchholz and Bowden. So now it gets down to Reddick and Navarro, who aren't pitchers which would mean Fielder is more valuable to us.

Jody Gerut has been awesome since the all-star break.

Boy, that McGehee sure is a good defender. LOL at Bill blaming his knee for that play.
  11. trwi7
Watching paint dry > Watching Bill Schroeder getting his hair cut.
  12. trwi7
Logan Schafer is 4-4 with a HR, 5 RBI's and is a triple shy of the cycle. BC leads 11-3 in the 6th.
  13. trwi7
Hilarious. Macha uses a hit and run with McGehee being the base runner. Maybe he doesn't know that his knee is busted up.

Kendall batting ahead of Escobar is just ugh. It's like Macha is intentionally trying to piss the fanbase off.

Speaking for myself and I'm sure members who were in the chat will vouch for it. I said I didn't want Coffey pitching another inning since he gave up hard hit balls the inning before and asking a reliever to go three innings is way too much to ask. Especially when they showed signs of being tired the previous inning. And I actually said I didn't want Coffey pitching before he gave up the Votto bomb. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

I would just deal Kendall for anything if anyone wants him. I'd hope we wouldn't offer him arby since it'd be a no brainer for him to accept. Counsell would garner no compensation and that would clear up a spot for Escobar to play everyday along with Gamel. I think two comp picks might be better than the return we get for Hoffman. Cameron and Lopez, I'd listen to offers but wouldn't be inclined to move them since I'd offer both arby after the season.

Is there a worse third base coach than Brad Fischer? I don't think so.
  18. trwi7
An 8.31 ERA and 5 walks to 1 strikeout is actually pretty horrendous.
  19. trwi7
Did Telly just say this is exactly what Macha and Bosio wanted when Suppan returned to the mound? And Brian is such a homer. "They're hoping to get Suppan through this inning and give him the oppurtunity for the win." Look at the scoreboard, moron.
  20. trwi7
Boy, Kendall really knocked the piss out of that ball.
  21. trwi7
At least Zambrano gave up 8 earned runs against the Nationals and the Cubs are losing 9-1 in the 4th.
  22. trwi7
I don't know who could've predicted this. Just stunning, really.
  23. trwi7
At least our rotation is set again and now we can make a push for the playoffs. Oh wait.
  24. trwi7
The Reds' offense is awful. Nine baserunners in three innings and they only have two runs.
  25. trwi7
Kind of thought Gerut might get a start after what he did yesterday.
