  1. Haha. Did anybody see Braun's reaction after he stole 2nd? Basically a shake your head and then he remembers "Oh damn, that's right, now they're going to walk Prince."
  2. Wasn't McGehee regarded as a good defender? I'm still waiting to see that.
  3. NICE!!!!!! Stop loading the bases though, Loop. Even if it isn't completely your fault on both occasions.
  4. Are you kidding? How much do these umpires have on the Cubs?
  5. The highlights on brewers.com are usually the home team announcers, so you will likely be able to after the game. Hart drops out number three and now Looper doesn't want to throw strikes and now the bases are loaded. Fantastic.
  6. I know I'm not the only one who's worried about what happened the last time we scored five runs in the first against the Cubs at Wrigley.
  7. He's been Cleveland's best reliever this year. And even though he's Cleveland's best, that's still pretty good (3.87 FIP). He's better than Narveson or Smith, I'd take a shot.
  8. The guy is struggling to get the ball out of the infield so he isn't playing much. So is Hart, Gerut, Hall, Kendall, Counsell and Cameron, yet they all continue to play more than Gamel, save Gerut. And maybe he's struggling because he's a young player who's barely getting any playing time and when he is, it's usually as a pinch hitter coming off the bench. Gamel is not going to lose all skill in a 2-3 month period of not playing that much. Again, you're completely missing the point of the argument that is going on here. He's our top prospect. If your top prospect is in the majors, you play him. If you're not comfortable with your top prospect playing in the majors for whatever reason, then he should be in the minors getting everyday at bats and not wasting valuable service time on the bench. The guy is no Prince or Braun What exactly does this have to do with the discussion at hand?
  9. Because Escobar is going to be replacing Hardy at some point.
  10. Parra with a very nice performance. 7 innings, 2 hits, 0 runs, 2 walks, 7 strikeouts, 9-5 GO/AO and only 86 pitches.
  11. Shaky first for Periard. Three walks, but he gets out of it without allowing a run.
  12. Pokorny has struck out 6 in his two innings. Unfortunately a Josh Prince error means that he's also given up three unearned runs.
  13. I personally think fastballs right down the middle are keys to a pitcher's success.
  14. It would be pretty cool if Cameron starts a hot streak again.
  15. Our lineups have been pretty consistent all year. No real all bench lineups this year that I can remember.
