I would assume this is an extension to MLB and he would be banned from MLB as well, right?

That's now 77 strikeouts and only 17 walks in 60.1 innings for Peralta this year (assuming he's done after 6 innings). Very impressive.

What's that phrase? Million dollar arm, ten cent head? Yeah, I think ten cents may be too generous.

Great to see a guy with a Cubs jersey right in the front row.

Now that you say that, it's going to end up being a 17-15 five hour game.

Just thought I'd bump this back up. Nebraska-Omaha and Bemidji State will be joining the WCHA starting in the 2010-2011 season.

This is really annoying. With Gamel not in the lineup tonight, he will have only started 22 of 39 games, six of those games are at DH. It's really a complete waste of his service time to have him up here. If you don't trust him on defense, send him back down so he can work on it in games, everyday while also getting regular at bats.

It's really only a salary dump if they don't spend the money they saved from Jefferson on other players. I expect them to spend the money so it's not really a salary dump.

It's for the Bobcats future pick which was acquired last year in for Alexis Ajinca.

Last night FSN showed a graphic that had the pitching matchups as Gallardo vs Cain, McClung vs Zito and Suppan vs Sanchez.

I feel the same way. He made a perfectly valid and very good point about a decision by the manager and his decision to put the worst pitcher in our bullpen in a one run game. I mean if we're cracking down on posts like that, why even have a game thread?

It had to have been the minimum jackpot since McGehee hit one earlier in the inning.
  14. trwi7
Wouldn't it then make more sense to have the better left handed hitter bat? Gamel and McGehee would make more sense using Macha's logic than Counsell and McGehee.

You did. That link was a Stephen A. Smith YTMND. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

    KENDALL HILARIOUS!!!!!!!

The 6th pick is their own, they just got the 5th pick from Washington yesterday for Foye and Miller, they got the 18th pick from Miami when they traded Ricky Davis and Mark Blount there for Antoine Walker, Wayne Simien and Michael Doleac and they got the 28th pick from Boston in the Garnett trade.

It's just not even a comparison. Thomas is 10 times better than Allen. More efficient scorer, better rebounder, better man defender, better shot blocker and this is at age 36 to Allen's age 30. There's just not a comparison. http://www.basketball-reference.com/fc/pcm_finder.cgi?request=1&sum=0&p1=allenma01&y1=2009&p2=thomaku01&y2=2009

Morton was traded to Pittsburgh in the McLouth deal.

Bowen isn't a good player and LRMAM is already a good defender. He doesn't need mentoring and besides, that's what we paid the coaching staff for. I'll be furious if Bowen is on the roster next year.
  21. trwi7
But Hardy's a good glove as well, so there's no guarantee that Escobar's glove is more valuable and there's definitely no guarantee that Escobar's bat is more valuable going forward.
  22. trwi7
Haha, Delmon Young is an awful defender.
  23. trwi7
ESPNEWS is going to be giving a live look-in to Ramirez' at bats. He's expected to play four innings, so if you want to see Manny pitch, tune into ESPNEWS.
  24. trwi7
Wow, I missed that post, but yes, Allen is awful. Easily one of the 15 worst players in the league. Thomas is actually a good rebounder and defender. Allen is good at nothing relating to basketball.
  25. trwi7
It does if it allows you to bring Sessions back. I'd rather watch Sessions than Jefferson brick jumpers and not rebound.
