    So Braun makes a horribly lazy play in the field that might cost us the game and then swings at a bunch of junk before striking out looking.

    Mysteries of the Brewers. Two outs, up four and we give up the lead. Up five in Arizona and we let them get six runs in the 9th without recording an out. Only the Brewers are this special.

    Our only hope is for McClung to somehow get through this inning and then have one of Marmol or Wood's arms fall off while throwing a pitch and have the arm with the ball still attached in the hand go right down the middle thereby knocking the ball and arm into the left field bleachers.

    Yeah, that was inexcusable. Instead of 2nd and 3rd with nobody out we had a runner on 2nd with one out and then we make another out on the bases and we have nobody on with two out.

    I think Braun should've had that. A pretty half-hearted effort there.

    I'm okay with Hart trying to make it to third on that. If he would've been safe (and he actually was) then we would've had a runner on third with one out. Sending Hardy there was pretty inexcusable by Iorg though.

    Seconded. I will also say this in favor of the umpire. There have been some very close pitches that could have been called either way, but the umpire has consistently called them balls all day for both sides. Can't really complain if he's calling it the same for both sides.
