    Glad U-Verse had an outage in my area tonight. Didn't have the chance to watch, well I could've gone to the bar but knowing Suppan was pitching on short rest when he sucks on regular rest was enough of a reason not to go. Not surprised at all by the result.

    SportsCenter question of the night. Which bullpen would you rather have with a lead in the 9th inning: Brewers or Mets? Brewers 68% Mets 32% States 50-0 Brewers. Now I know the results are good, but the fact that we're in the poll to begin with sucks.

    Well, if for some reason we don't get the T'Rats then from the fans perspective they would want Clinton as they play in the Midwest League so while they're not playing in Wisconsin, they would still have games in Beloit and Appleton. The problem is that Clinton's stadium was built in 1937. Hickory has a semi-new facility (1993) but is in the South Atlantic League and if they wanted to stay in the South Atlantic League they would've just re-upped with West Virginia.

    Also, Braun deserves some major criticism for not going hard after Ramirez' "double" in the 9th and Iorg deserves a ton of criticism as well by sending Hardy home with nobody out in the 9th. We would've had second and third with nobody out. Maybe Counsell and Kendall would've actually come through there. Not likely, but maybe the pinch hitter would have.

    No, I actually want rluz for manager. He'll pinch hit not start Counsell and will pinch hit for Kendall late in games. He also wouldn't manage on "feeling" or go with any gritty battlers.

    No kidding. Fine, 100 years without a World Series, 63 without a pennant blah, blah, blah. All we're asking for is one playoff appearance since 1982, just one. I'm sure most fans wouldn't even care if they got swept and played only one game at Miller Park. Just to see what a playoff game at Miller Park is like is all 95% of the fanbase is asking and the team chokes away a 5.5 game lead in September.

    Counsell hits a grounder 48.4% of the time. Kendall hits one 46.3% of the time. Why would you send them out there (hopefully) knowing that?

    Well yeah, that's sort of the problem. He was giving nothing off the corners the first 8 innings but then all of a sudden he expanded the strikezone.

    Don't know how you call that a ball after calling Braun out on a pitch much worse than that.
