  1. Juan Cruz is a type A free agent. No way I'd give up our first rounder for him.
  2. Read the game thread. I know I ripped Hart last night and I believe Cameron got ripped on.

  4. Sveum is an idiot for being duped into having Shouse face Blanco (although that's not as stupid as Ned intentionally walking a lefty and having Shouse face Burrell, Victorino and Feliz) and for not pinch hitting Kendall in the 9th.
  5. Well, at least we get the Cubs at home. Of course it's 9-8 and not 9-6 like the Cubs have gotten the past couple of years. Three three city road trips next year. One in April, one in May and one in August. Cubs have four three city road trips. Two in June, one in August and one in September. The Indians, Tigers and Twins in interleague. How new and refreshing! The Brewers at home on my birthday against the Nationals. That's a welcome sight after the last two years when they've had the Cardinals on the road and Cubs at home. If teams have around the same talent level this year as they do next year then August is a cupcake month. 5 against San Diego (2 road, 3 home), 3 against Los Angeles (3 road), 6 against Houston (3 road, 3 home), 6 against Pittsburgh (3 road, 3 home), 4 against Washington (4 road) and 3 against Cincinnati (3 home). It's so much smarter having us play 6 times at Miller Park in the first month of the season than 6 times at Wrigley Field. For that, I don't know if I should applaud MLB because that should be common sense to everybody. But I will say they finally realized it. Don't like having New York and Philadelphia in April. The weather in the northeast can be brutal that time of year. Eww, four games in Florida. We can't win there so chalk up four losses. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  6. White Sox would be cool. We haven't played them in a while. I still hope we get the Mariners and A's.
  7. Well aren't you guys macho. If you want to be a real man, punch the soft couch like I do. Relieves frustration and saves money on band-aids!
  8. Nobody ever said he was going to replace Cameron. He just said that he didn't want to have Brantley in the trade because he's a prototypical leadoff hitter. He made no mention of when he would actually be with the Brewers.
  9. Doesn't really get on base? His minor league OBP is .399. He may not have a lot of power but he's also very young for his league. Always has been. Brantley's career SLG% is .372, Gwynn has been above that number once in his career when he repeated AAA. Gwynn's career SLG% is .342. Brantley also has 55 more walks than strikeouts in his career. Gwynn never drew as many walks as Brantley does and Gwynn also strikes out much more. I'm not saying Brantley is this great hitter and that he does hit for power but saying he's Gwynn is pretty ridiculous.
  10. SeriesFinale and hawing had their avatars on TV. So you guys are now famous. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  11. Saw SeriesFinale and hawing's avatars on TV!
  12. TMJ4 has brewerjamie on right now.
  13. And Kendall's batting. Dale Yost.
  14. I would honestly take 20 posters on this site as managers over Yost/Sveum.
  15. What will it take for us to play the A's and Mariners again? It's been forever since we played them, especially Oakland.
  16. Yep, certainly looks that way. I missed that part. Here's the website for those who don't know. http://www.todaystmj4.com/
  17. At least? I hope they put him out there another inning. With the way he was leaving pitches up I have no doubt we would smash him.
  18. How the hell was that a strike? Screw you CB. That wasn't even close.
  19. I missed it. Does anybody know who's coaching first base now?
  20. Here comes a GIDP by our new rally killer. Prove me wrong Corey!
  21. Holy crud. Speaking of the moon, that was a moon shot.
  22. It's more entertaining looking at those craters on the moon that they just showed than watching the Brewers play. I wish I could put that in blue.
  23. Corey Hart is absolutely pathetic. I don't want him signing a long term deal with his .310 OBP and shoddy defense.
  24. That was completely shocking. (blue)
