I would never trade for Harden. The guy only threw 72.1 innings in 2006 and 2007 combined and has already been on the DL this year. Way too much of a risk to give up anything worthwhile.

    YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Great play Billy!
  4. trwi7
Sweet, I'll take a broken bat Texas Leaguer from Billy.

I don't understand why Kendall was swinging at the first pitch. Hudson was at 120 pitches, just got hit in the foot and was probably tired with nowhere to put him. Take a pitch or two.
  6. trwi7
    Kendall showing his silo power.

Shut up Bill, I'm just glad they tied it!!

This was Ned's excuse last year for sitting Weeks for Counsell even when Weeks was red hot.

Haha when Brian said that got him right in the bread basket I said to myself no Brian, that was the ********. Ugh, Prince has just been garbage this year.

I miss our offense from last year. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/frown.gif

    Fixed your post for you.

Wow, Dusty let Cueto go 119 pitches. I'm glad Dusty is still managing in the division but I feel bad for the Reds pitchers.
  13. trwi7
Ugh, Ned, stop the hit and run crap.
  14. trwi7
    Man, Bush is terrible.
  15. trwi7
Well that's a stunner. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/laugh.gif Bush is getting hammered. Even his outs are getting hit hard.
  16. trwi7
Did anybody elses picture get all choppy or is it just me?

Melvin answering questions and Yost answering questions is completely different. Most of the time when a GM is asked a question it's about trades, you obviously don't want him showing his hand on what he's going to do. Yost on the other hand is asked about in-game strategy and continues to dodge questions posed by reporters when asked.

Yes but barring a trade Villanueva is the best option. You can't possibly tell me you want Weaver or DiFelice starting.
  19. trwi7
Haha this is exactly what you were predicting in the thread when Branyan came back. http://forum.brewerfan.net/viewtopic.php?t=10914?page=2

I would be okay with not giving Bush another start if he sucks tonight as long as Villanueva takes his spot. No DiFelice, no Jackson, no Weaver. None of them would be upgrades. Of course I'm loving what Villanueva has done out of the bullpen.

Sheets needs to keep pitching at Wrigley. He has two starts there and we've won both. Gallardo and Suppan won the others and Suppan got shelled in his other outing there. So yeah if we could play home games the rest of the year and then only Sheets pitching at Wrigley it would be good. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

Maybe it's just me but I hate this weather (not fond of winter either.) Spring and fall are cool with me. I need to find someplace else to live because the summers and winters here suck.
  23. trwi7
    Haha. Best steal ever.
  24. trwi7
I'm sorry but that hit the gray area above the wall. It was a homer.
  25. trwi7
    Because I said so! http://www.wiwillrockyou.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2008/02/yost_1.jpg
