  1. I'm very serious. There is no point to that part, it's just used as time filler because MacFarlane isn't creative enough to think of anything to fill the two minutes that the fight takes. He should use some more of the jokes that he uses in Family Guy. That's my kind of humor and he used more of them then Family Guy would be the landslide winner over the Simpsons for me. Until he cuts out all the garbage that has nothing to do with the plot line then that show is not going to reach its peak, at least with me.
  2. Come on Manny, build on the last few innings from your last start!
  3. Peter vs Homer: Push Lois vs Marge: Big advantage Lois Lisa vs Meg: Advantage Meg (I can't stand Lisa) Bart vs Chris: Advantage Bart Stewie vs Maggie: Big advantage Stewie Brian vs Snowball/Santa's Little Helper: Advantage Brian Extended Family: Slight advantage Simpsons Other characters: Simpsons Storylines easily go to the Simpsons. Family Guy gets too far off track from the story and that chicken fighting with Peter annoys the hell out of me.
  4. Did anybody hear the report Trenni did last night saying that Yost doesn't like to use his relievers more than three days in a row and if they are used three days in a row then they get a couple of days off? Does Ned not think a closer is a reliever? What the hell was he using Gagne for earlier in the year for four straight days?
  5. Ground ball pitcher. It will be interesting to see how many pop ups the Brewers have today.
  6. My powers amaze me sometimes. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/tongue.gif
  7. He called us dorks! I'm throwing my taped glasses at him and then telling my mommy.
  8. Mr. Murphy, I give you two thumbs down and this for ripping on brewerfan.net.
  9. You know this guy is looking at the site right now.
  10. What's this guy's name? Alan or something?
  11. 3 out of 4 would be sweet. If the Brewers do win tomorrow who would've thought the only game they would lose would be the one Sheets pitched in?
  12. Big difference between hitting in West Virginia and Brevard County. Brevard County is not good for hitters. Even Ryan Braun only slugged .436 in Brevard County as opposed to .645 in West Virginia.
  13. DiFelice got bailed out by 3TO. He hit a 3-run blast in the 7th to tie the game. Go 3TO!
  14. Lisa: Don't you think you're overreacting? Homer: Don't you think you're underreacting? Lisa: This session's over. Homer: This session's under. Lisa: Good bye. Homer: Bad bye.
  15. According to the WGN News at Noon 4-1 Rich Harden is pitching for the D'Backs today.
  16. [Ned Yost]Remain calm, everything is Wellemeyer.[/Ned Yost]
  17. Cubs play the D'Backs at 1:20 on WGN. My non-Brewers man crush Dan Haren is pitching so I'm going to check it out.
  18. "Friendship is like peeing on yourself: everyone can see it, but only you get the warm feeling that it brings."
  19. I agree. He's more suited for the circus than MLB manager.http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/tongue.gif
  20. And that's absolutely ridiculous if they decide to go that route. We've fired hitting coaches, 1st base coaches, 3rd base coaches etc. under Ned. It's time for him to go.
  21. Sorry, I took proven to mean proven at the MLB level as you made a statement about proven, young MLB players. But there is no such thing as a proven prospect, that point still remains. There are prospects who produce and are amongst the top prospects in the game but until they prove it at the MLB level none of them are proven.
  22. Nobody is going to give up good, young MLB players as it depletes their talent base while going for a playoff push. And your "proven prospects" doesn't make sense. There is no such thing as a proven prospect, it's impossible.
  23. Ned is going to be pulling out all the stops and it's going to be hilarious to watch.
