  1. Let's just say he took the scenic route to get to that ball and didn't exactly exert himself to get there which meant he had to jump.
  2. Right, the dicks are the ones who say it wasn't a bad call, not the people questioning people's fandom because they don't think it was a bad call.
  3. So his foot has to reorient to maintain control of the base but you guys are also complaining about Freeman blocking the base with his foot, in which case when he reorients his foot wouldn't be on the base. I can't get a great view right now because I don't have a way to slow the video down but if his foot is blocking the base and he's trying to get his foot reoriented, it stands to reason that his foot would have to be off the base in this position to get it back on the base which is why you see his foot slam down to get back on the base.
  4. You don't need air between his shoe and the base when his foot slams back onto the base. A foot doesn't slam back onto the base unless it was off the base.
  5. The behind the base view was pretty definitive. On what earth was that definitive? The one where people have eyes and use them to look at things.
  6. You guys, that behind the base view where it looks like his foot is off (because it is and you can see him slam his foot back into the base while the tag is still being applied) is about as definitive as you can get.
  7. You guys can hate the fact that that type of review is allowed but he was pretty clearly off the base when the tag was still applied.
  8. Jacob Nottingham, Adrian Houser and Eric Lauer have as many home runs combined as Yelich in 56 at bats.
  9. Although we really should all be watching the soccer game because they're just confirming all the stereotypes.
  10. I don't get the scoreboard. Yes I know it's 90s weekend or whatever but why have a giant scoreboard look like complete garbage?
  11. Jace Peterson might be a better hitter than the guy we gave almost $200 million.
  12. I think two runs actually counts as a big inning for the Brewers offense.
  13. That was the most obvious at bat ever. Hiura couldn't catch up to two 96 mph fastballs so Garrett throws him another one, he barely gets a piece of it and Hiura knows he can't hit high fastballs so he gears up for another one while Garrett throws a slider in the dirt. Game over.
  14. 7 of the 10 worst calls in the first game were in the Brewers favor.
  15. He moved his head towards second a bit but didn't actually take a step towards second at all. I don't think that call gets made often but it probably wasn't as crazy as some of the weird interference calls we've seen this year. He did more than move his head, His left foot was on the line after he crossed and when he realized the ball got by Votto both his feet ended up in fair territory.
  16. If the zone should be the zone then everyone should agree that the pitch to Castellanos was a ball.
  17. Those were strikes all game for Miley yesterday. This would be a logical argument if the home plate umpire last night was the home plate umpire again tonight. But he's not so I'm not exactly sure what point you're trying to make here.
